This new quality product takes the robust and sturdy nature of our standard picnic table but gives you the flexibility of a traditional garden table and you can add your own chairs. You are able to position the table as you desire with the freedom to have your own chairs or benches in a different configuration. Our picnic tables are made from chunky 89 x38 mm (4"x 2") tanelised timber. The wood is pressure treated to withstand years of the traditional British summers. Our tables feature 7 slats on the tables , beware of lesser grade picnic tables available that aren't up to our standards! A parasol hole is drilled in the table centre. Our Picnic Tables can be supplied in natural colour (this appears a greenish tint due to the pressure treating) or a rustic brown stain. QUALITY, STURDY ITEM - WILL LAST FOR YEARS.
This is an exceptionally sturdy, well made piece if kit. It should last for years. Home assembly of the 3 main components is very simple. However, a little bit of muscle is required as this is a solid item. Power drill and socket set needed. It may be a two person job for those not of a muscly disposition. Although treated, the natural finish version is a bit anaemic so I gave mine a bit of stain. Quality construction from good timber. It will be out in all weathers but such is the quality of build this will be no problem for it.I did have a bit of a delivery glitch and it took some time to arrive, And there was some frustration with a lack of feedback but all resolved in the end and I very pleased with my acquisition. Just need the good weather to come back to enjoy it!

Sturdy inexpensive impressive garden furniture with assembly issues
This took over 5 weeks to arrive - yes we are having Covid delivery problems but even still this was long.In the end I was very happy with my purchase and it went together fairly easily except for the support struts. They measured these 2 supports pretty badly - one of them was secured but there's a wedge shaped gap underneath, and the other is a small block short of the middle of the table where it's supposed to get strength from.Also the centre beam looks too long and neither of the screw holes line up to where you attach them to the base - I had to drill new holes well away from where they made holes. Also they were one black plastic cap short, but the golden nuts really don't need these caps; it's your preference whether you use them or not.The whole thing looks GREAT and is extremely solid. The wood is very thick and a good quality. This has been cut and partially assembled (the legs are completely assembled as is the table top). This 4ft one is BIG also.You need a socket set to assemble, an electric drill to make new holes. This also has a hole for a garden parasol.The price from MC Timbers is value-for-money and if you don't mind these minor problems and the long delivery time I would recommend this for the quality of the wood and it's impressive appearance.

Disappointing beyond belief.
Having waited for over 2 weeks for delivery the item finally arrived. What a disappointment, whoever produced this table needs a woodworking course, or the jig needs to recalibrated and quality control needs closer attention to what they are actually dispatching to customers. The positives are the wood is good quality and well finished, the negatives are the table top is so out of true/square it beggars belief how no one noticed, either that or they just don’t care. You may ask why I didn't think of returning it, however it would be at my cost, just adding insult to injury. It would be easy to assemble if it was square, as it wasn’t all the supporting struts don’t fit properly and the table legs are sitting about 20 degrees off centre.If this is an example of their workmanship and product I clearly wont be recommending them. However if this was intended for the crazy house furniture in the fairground it will fit in nicely!!

Excellent product for the price. Great delivery service. The item is a little rough but not something that cannot be resolved with some sanding down. I sanded the whole unit, varnished the eggs and painted the table top. It looks really great. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good value and efficient table.

Need skills to assemble
The table itself looks well made. However, it came with screws that require holes to be drilled and a special tool to insert. Whilst I am able to assemble flat pack this was beyond my skills so I will probably have to employ someone to assemble it. If I had known this I would probably have bought something different.

A mighty beast - amazing quality and value
I want to use this table as an outdoor potting-bench and it is perfect for that, really sturdy and plenty big enough. As a garden table it would be brilliant too, as long as you don't plan to move it around a lot with a weak back (it is heavy.)I don't know how they do this for the money, brilliant value.

Make sure you have a tool kit.
Instructions photos very poor.On the whole a sturdy table. Hope my pictures are clearer than the leaflet.

New garden picnic table
Loved the look of the table online so decided to buy and wasn't disappointed it's very solid and just the job, Simple assembly the only issue I found was it came with hex screws so you will need the appropriate tool. Luckily I had an old ratchet set which did the job.
