2007 Jeep Commander 5.7 hemi item work on upstream and downstream?

Not sure...but upstream and downstream are usually different.

Will this sensor fit in all 4 sensor space?

It does for my Chrysler Sebring. The best way to tell is to use your type vehicle and search for parts on its factory parts website. ( mine was Chrysler) check the factory part number for before and after catalyst O2 sensor for both Bank 1 and Bank two. If the number is the same, you can be assured it will work for your application.
