This sheds all over, but I gave the low rating because it's super sharp with little thorns sticking out if it. My hermit crabs have not touched it.

This moss climbing toy is very flexible. I think there is a wire in the center of it, that allows you to bend it into any shape you want and hold its shape. You could make it straight, round, or even with enough patience you could make it into a corkscrew shape.* Is flexible and bendable.* Is covered in a moss-like material.* Full stretched out it is about 2 feet long.

This looks nice in the photo, but the reality is less than stellar. It's essentially a wire wrapped in brown moss and jute twine. The moss is much darker and less fluffy than shown in the photo. It's a cool idea, but the reality just falls short.I've had this in my 90 gallon crabitat for several days now, and I've yet to see anyone climbing on it. My 8 jumbo crabs are typically all over new items, keen to examine and explore. Even a bunch of dried leaves gets a ton of attention, but this is just there.I don't doubt that they'll be able to climb it easily, but in the end I'd skip this. They make similar flexible moss poles for climbing plants. They're actually made of coco fiber, but they're longer and thicker. My crabs love those. Not sure this one will make the cut.
