Easy to fit and replace old lock. The lock is of high quality and the key very impressive and strong. My son has broken numerous door keys in our lock. The keys with this lock will not break. The keys are great shape and size making it very easy to use and unlock . So far so good. I can recommend this lock with confidence. The additional turn lock on the inside of the door is a bonus 👍🏼

I'm pretty sure that I don't need a degree to work out how to operate a lock, but for me to work out what this push button does, I probably do need a degree.Pushing the button simply does nothing, even after locking with the key, the thumb-turn still turns without any issue.After spending some time with the key in and pressing the button, I worked out that if you push the key in fully, pressing the button pushes the key out one notch, that's about it.Now for the quality and build, it is every cent true as described. The weight of this expresses how good this is.One major safety point on this, is that you can't just get a key copied just like this, so if you have a rental property, then you can be assured that the tenants won't be able to get another key cut just like this without the supplied registration card.It does mean you're locked down and you can't just go to any locksmith to get a key cut, well, that is my understanding so far.Can't go wrong with this and the price is reasonable too given the quality and the coverage for over 10 years in case you encounter any issues.

A very secure locking system, solidly made.If replacing an existing barrel and you’re not a professional, it’s vital to measure distance from the securing screw centre, to each internal and external edge. And to know which is the short length and long length. I’m not a pro and found out the hard way!To the manufacturer: what’s the purpose of the spring loaded button??
