Dickie Dyer 516756 Heavy Duty Pipe Bender Kit 3pce 15 - 22 mm,Black

I got this for my son last year, who is training for his plumbing certifications at college, he along with his colleagues and tutor were very impressed with the construction and performance of this Dickie Dyer pipe bender .. he now has an apprenticeship with Worcester-Bosch and still using this.His verdict is that, its Solid! He did say it was a little tight/stiff at first, but he dismantled it and oiled/greased the moving parts before reassembling, and it works like a dream every time and has never let him down since.He says it is well up to the job of sustained use.. unlike one of his apprentice friends who had bought a famous 'R' brand and the alloy wheel hub part had broken within a month, he had also paid close to double the price for that too!He is very pleased, i am too as only paid around £50 pounds for this as his present. He says the 2 alloy formers come in a soft protective bag, the main tool does not, but he has bought a suitable bag for that. He liked it had the angle marking guides on the wheel hub part.He said if you are getting ripples/wrinkles on your pipe bends, you are doing it wrong.I'm happy he is happy.. also if i need plumbing work done, he can pay back all the pocket money i gave him over the years - i do not expect a invoice :-)

Good benders at a reasonable price,I've used these benders lots recently and they haven't rippled any pipes on the bends.They're good quality at a reasonable price

Well made, strong and does the job, I would say they are as good as the R-------g pipe benders. Good easy bends well marked out angles and doesn't ripple the bends. I got them at discounted price so a proper bargain.

This is a really robust and strong copper pipe bender.I bought it to bend 1" copper pipe.It bends the tubing without any difficulty.This is a really robust tool.There is no deflection in the tool or fear of any part breaking.

First time to try bending pipes. Although a bit stiff initially, this does a good job of bending both 15mm and 22mm copper pipes. I found that I could bend 15mm fairly effortlessly by hand but had to clamp the tool in a bench vice to bend 22mm. Good value - recommended for DIY.

Very pleased with this pipe bender. Does the job well

When I first used this bender it was very stiff but after two or three bends it eased up and is now a very good pipe bender. Comes with very good quality guides. Even comes with 45 and 90 degree markings which makes life easier. For the price I paid this is a third cheaper than top brand benders and I just can't see why as it really is just as good if not better.
