Wonderful little ginkgo
Very cute and healthy little ginkgo tree. Arrived well packed and in great condition. It’s not very tall but with care it will grow into a big and beautiful tree. I am glad I found this tree on Amazon at a reasonable price as I tried to grow ginkgo twice from a seed, but didn’t succeed and I can grow almost anything. So, thank you!UPDATE: the little tree is doing great and grew about 4 inches since I purchased it (see the second pic I just added). I am very pleased.

Will it happenb?
when this came in the mail, the few top tiny leaves were yellow and limp. I pruned them off, about 1/2".I,m waiting and hoping for a sign of new growth, but not so far.NEW GROWTH HAS ARRIVED!

plant as described
looks a little pitiful at first glance, but seems healthy. roots were small and fragile but with care it should do fine. will update with new photos as it grows...

Pulled out of the ground and left without proper roots
The ginkgo trees arrived looking well and well packaged, but after opening and transplanting, it was obvious that these trees were poorly uprooted and just placed in the pots to ship. They only have a taproot and are struggling to survive. They were pulled straight out of the ground, like a weed, and we’re not carefully transplanted. They were not left with any other roots to survive off of. The taproots didn’t even fit into the pots and were dried up on the ends where exposed. They were shipped quickly, so again they appeared to look okay at arrival. A week later and I don’t believe they are going to survive, due to the way they were poorly uprooted. This was a sample buy for a large order, I definitely will not be buying from this seller again. They were also much smaller than the other ginkgoes purchased, from other sellers, at the same age advertised.Update: both have died. Don’t waste your money. Very poor quality.

Beautiful good quality Gingko tree
Amazing little tree! I can’t believe I now own a Gingko tree. Thank you to the seller getting it to me so fast and in great condition. Tree had many leaves. Highly recommend.

Cute tree
This is crazy that you can buy a tree on Amazon… It was pretty good and the packaging really protected it. Our tree was already starting to die (the leaves were all brown tipped). But overall a good buy.

PLEASE READ!
I've seen a few reviews of folks complaining about getting their gingkos without their leaves. The gingko biloba is a deciduous tree, so it will lose its leaves in the winter(which I didn't know at the time). I've bought two of these trees, the first had leaves that were browning, and eventually lost them-- I thought the tree had died, but I held out hope so I kept it through the season, and bought a new one. Worst case scenario, I'd have two of them. :) In late June, the tree that had lost its leaves was coming back around, and the leaves are now unfurling! All of this just to say, just be patient with these babies as they come back around. They're definitely sturdy!
