Grew fast and my cats are happy.
Review of my second purchase: (mid 2021)The first time I ordered these seeds no weevils. The second time around the bag had weevils in it. Wheat weevils. They live inside the wheat kernel during their larva stages until they become full adults when they emerge from the grain and are the little black weevils people have mentioned and shown in photos in other reviews. When the larva are inside the kernels you cannot see them. So at first the seeds may seem fine, then a week or several weeks later the bag is crawling with bugs. The larva do eat the kernel from the inside out. Which makes the seed yield lower. So if you see any weevils inside your bag, put it in the freezer right away and keep it in there for a couple weeks, to kill any adults weevils or larva inside the kernels. If humans or animals eat the weevils they are harmless. The majority of my second buggy seed bag grew and grew very well. Cats still loved it.Review of my first purchase: (mid 2020)I planted a portion of seeds the day it arrived. I scattered the seeds fairly densely. Then I put the remaining unused seeds in a glass jar. I lightly watered the dirt daily and it sprouted within a few days.It is growing fast. My cats happily nibble at it. And then also yank the whole piece of grass out. This isn't my first cat grass rodeo, so I bought extra seeds. Then I can just replant more when they destroy it or eat it all.My oat grass seeds arrived, and are still, insect free. I've had an infestations of wheat weevils in the past (they arrived in some dry pasta). Because of that we store anything these weevils eat (dry beans, grains, seeds, pastas, etc) in sealed containers or in the freezer.

Grows quick and easy
My cat is picky and does not like wheat grass - only oat grass. I used to spend five dollars for a tiny little kit every couple of weeks so now I just use my own containers and bought this bag of the oats seeds. It grows in a few days and gets to about 4 inches and then I will let the cat work on it and then over the next few days it fills in quite nicely. 😊

Used for cat grass
I only gave 4 stars because the seeds seem to be mixed a little bit. All the seeds look the same in the bag (see pic) but some sprout with seed leaves. I don't know what kind of plants they are and if they are OK for my cat to eat. I have not had that happen before. But it is just a few of them so I just pick them out before I let my cats have the plate (I sprout it outside and bring it in once it's ready). But if you lived in a cold place, that wouldn't work during the winter. I have not had this mix issue happen with any other different brands of grass seeds I have purchased off of Amazon for this purpose.

Insects crawling in the seeds as I write this review.
Purchased to grow grass for our cats. Very disappointed. Have ordered these seed packs twice both times arrived infested with an unidentified insect. Whenever I order seeds like this the moment they arrive they are placed into a new out of the box ziplock bag to prevent bugs getting to the seeds and keep from spilling them everywhere. When the first package arrived it had a dusty powder looking coating on the inside of the package. Thought it was dust from the seeds. Now I think its from the insects burrowing into the seeds and eating the inside. Shorty after ordering the seeds and using them I noticed that most of the seeds didn't germinate. Trying to figure out why I looked at sampling of the seeds and noticed most of them were hollow. I had also picked up a few dead insects. After seeing the bugs, dumped out the seeds and they were full of the insects. Most of the seeds unusable. They were destroyed to prevent an infestation of anything else. I believe in each case the seeds arrived infested. I grow other plants, have seed stored and none of them have this issue. I've never had a problem with their wheatgrass seeds. I wanted to recommend this to cat lovers but cannot for fear of infesting the house or other seeds with whatever is in those seed packs. Buyer beware if your package arrives with the dust visible in the photos. Also note the condition of the seeds. Apologies to anyone who has bought seeds since my order I just found the post-it to myself about it I would have written this sooner.

Sweet, crunchy, fun, easy.
The media could not be loaded. See video of me, nomming on my Cat Salad… I have stopped eating any other “store-bought” sprouts after being introduced to these. I live for them. My human grows these in large yogurt containers in the sunroom (no special attention required, just keep moist and provide some sort of light). I was forced to go a whole week without my sprouts once, because she “forgot” to plant them one week. The next time she brought them in for me, I ate the entire container and promptly spread all the potting soil onto the floor of the sunroom, and then rolled around in it and made cat Snow Angels in the dirt. It was a glorious piece of performance art. I should have been given my own gallery show after that. But, Human was not impressed and proceeded to sweep up all of my art and put it in the trash. Alas… my means of expression are seriously undervalued, in this household.

Awesome product!
I bought this after planting a few packets from Home Depot. Unfortunately, I originally underestimated just how much my two cats would enjoy cat grass. This product comes with A LOT of seeds, so I spread a completely solid layer in the flower bed and covered it with soil. It took about 3 days for the grass to start poking through, and it immediately shot up from there. Incredibly easy to grow. I gave the grass two more days so it could establish some roots (my cats tore the seeds right out of the soil the first time), and it has turned into a mini cat grass forest. They love it!The picture has two catnip plants with the cat grass all around it.

Cats love it, but grows sow
Our cats still love these although these need more time to grow, they take about 4-5 days longer to start sprouting than imperial brand we normally use.
