2 Replacement for Liftmaster 973LM Garage Door Remote Opener 390mhz

These took less than a minute to program. Stone simple — push the orange/red button on the opener, push and hold for a couple seconds the large button on the remote, and you are done. I did the same process on the two smaller buttons and they work the same as the big button. The small buttons on the original remotes didn’t do anything and I never tried to program them. The wired switch has a lock button (I don’t know what it does) and a light button. I’m not sure why the small buttons duplicate the big one.If people had trouble programming these remotes I wonder if they were replacing a 973LM. Oh, and the range is greater than the Liftmaster originals. These things are a real bargain.

I am preparing to move and one of my garage door remotes was lost. I hopped on the internet to find a replacement. I was dismayed when I realized my 20+ year old garage door opener may not have remote replacements available. Then I stumbled onto this one which actually listed the years of models it should work with. My order came quickly and within the time it took me to set up and climb the ladder and pair to my unit, I was up and running again. Needless to say, I am delighted and have matching remotes to hand off to a new owner.

We’ve been in our home for 3 years and between 2 cars had only 1 working remote. I originally purchased a universal remote from Home Depot but ended up returning it because it wasn’t compatible. I finally took the time (all of 5 min!) to look on the manufacturer’s website and determine which remote I needed. I was pleasantly surprised that the remote I needed was in stock and shipped quickly. Pairing to my unit was a breeze and so far is working perfectly. And you can’t beat the price!

I have 2 older Sears 139.53970SRT openers with a red learn button made in 2000, and at first I could not get it to work. So I erased the existing codes from the openers and both worked perfect after that. I think the memory can only handle a few devices so before you pair the remotes erase the codes first by holding the learn button until the light next to the learn button turns off. Then follow the instructions to pair the remote using the learn button.

These work perfectly and were very easy to program. Just press the learn button on the main garage door opener unit and then press and hold the button you want to program on the remote. Took less than a minute to program. Worked great to replace a lost remote for my Liftmaster opener manufactured in 2001 with a red learn button. And a great price. One of the “big box” stores wanted $40 for one replacement remote. Thrilled to have my remote working again!

I had purchased a single remote previously for over $30 at the store, and it wasn't working so great after a couple years. I saw this pair of remotes for $19.99 so I got them to replace my old one and to have a spare. (Make sure that your remote has the big red Program button on the back like the description says.)The programming was so easy and only took 30 seconds (could get it down to 10 seconds with practice)....push the red button on the garage door opener, light comes on, push a button on remote...done. It works great.

Easy to program:1. Press and release the (red) "learn" button on the motor unit. The learn indicator light will glow steadily for 30 seconds.2. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button you want to program on the hand-held remote.3. Release the button when the motor unit lights blink. It has learned the code. If light bulbs are not installed, two clicks will be heard.

You can tell they dont make them like they used to I guess. The button is very flimsy and doesnt feel like it's made to last, push it too hard and it may break
