BissellTurboClean PET, Upright Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner, 3948

So pleased with this! It does a great job of picking up pet hair that all the sweeping in the world won’t get, plus deep cleaning. It is also good enough at extracting water from the carpet that I can use it in the humid summer and still have rugs dry pretty quickly. So much more cost effective and easier than sending rugs out for cleaning. I will use this a lot more than I thought I would, it’s so easy and effective. I have the BISSELL little green for spot cleaning so I really questioned whether I needed this too, but I am so freaking glad I bought it. I bought the model that does surface cleaning too. Not sure I needed that since I have the little green, but figured it would be easier than getting two different machines out if needed. I wish I’d bought this earlier instead of the little green since it’s basically a twofer, but again, still so glad I got it. In theory I hate adding to an already large catalog of home tools/appliances, many of which I could borrow from a neighbor or the library. But in reality having it ready at hand is often the difference between using it or not using it. I expect that having this will make my life much easier (and cleaner) going forward, and consider it an excellent purchase, well worth the money. It may not be the most powerful out there, but it is so light and easy to use that I anticipate frequent use will make it as effective as a much fancier product.

Comes packed nicely. So easy to assemble. Everything basically snaps together. The water reservoirs are easy to fill and empty.They are also very easy to clean out.The carpet cleaner works excellent and the attachments are easy to use.We used it on a mattress and it cleaned it very well. We also used it on big throw rugs with success. We used it on our furniture. These items all dried easily and we use the Bissell liquid cleaner that was provided in the box when it was purchased. It did not stain or take the color out of any of our items. The bottle does recommend that you do a test area on items, which we did.It's a light machine. It is not heavy and it's a great machine for the price it gets the job done.We do have pets, so it's a good machine for that.I would recommend this machine and I would buy it again if I had to.

This is my second Bissell pet carpet cleaner in 4-5 years, and I’m hoping THIS one lasts longer than the 4 yrs. my last one did. I purchased this one because obviously the older one no longer worked, and we still have a LOT of pets, most of whom are what they call geriatric. Also, we have a fabric sectional now rather the previous leather, so I was looking for a cleaner that would do upholstery as well. So far so good. This cleaner appears to clean well; not sure about no old stains/spots showing through yet, but the carpets look great. I also really like the attachment tool; not only does it attach to a nice-length hose, but it can clean upholstery AND carpet spots. The real selling point for me was the ability to disassemble for cleaning. -FINALLY there is no remaining hair, fuzz, and other crud in the dirty water tank! Tanks are pretty small as noted in other reviews, but to have a lighter machine is worth it to me. To note: the dirty water tank is very small, and it’s helpful to listen to the sound of the cleaner while using-you will hear when the tank float pops and that’s when the suction also stops. Very easy to assemble and use.

Well it did a great job! I just got it yesterday and so today was the day! You do have to fill the water and empty the dirty water more often than with the bigger ones, but it’s because the little containers are smaller than those big bulky machines. It’s a small price to pay for clean floors on a budget and a smaller machine to contend with and live with in a small space. We live in a RV now and my big Bissell Pro Heat went out. Bissell told me it was the pump. Well, it’s old. That model was from like 2008 haha- Try and tell me it wasn’t a good one!! Anyway I was tired of that thing being in our way. I have a Little Green spot cleaner machine and it does a great job, but it just wasn’t big enough for me to keep my carpet clean. Bissell we need an extender pole so we could clean standing and not kneeling with the attachments ;). Anyway, I saw this little machine with the attachments and all and I was ready to try me one! Well, waa laa we now have nice clean carpets again! My husband was very happy that he now has more room to let his recliner back as well! - Oh we managed with the big one back there, but Baby Bissell as I’ve nicknamed him ;) fits a lot better! We just didn’t need another big machine for 300 sq ft. Oh it does require a bit of refilling and emptying out the dirty water and such, and cleaning out the roller at the end was a bit of a mystery to me as well. The front part comes off but the bottom doesnt as far as I can tell! Well I sprayed it out with my sink sprayer. It isn’t very big so It wasn’t hard. I managed and it worked great! It cleaned up our mess and dried so quick, too! Amazing how fast your carpets will dry when the the pump is working correctly! If you’re looking for a smaller machine and/or an inexpensive way to clean small areas, this may be the one for you! Oh and I loved the improvements they’ve made to the accessory brush tool (Its now self cleaning and comes apart to clean too - Thank You Bissell! 🙏) And that edge tool, too, wow! Nice! 😊 👍 i didn’t even need my spray bottle and tiny brush to get up in the tight places! The accessories do it ALL for you and in the end, even clean themself! Wow! If you decide to get one, Be sure you get the model with the attachments! We all need those! And these work great! All in all I’m happy with my purchase and our big Bissell is now off to that great dumpster in the great beyond! Have a great night! And Happy carpet cleaning to you all! :)

I can’t express enough how I wish I would have bought one of these sooner!! We have 2 kids and 2 dogs and I did one pass on our living room carpet, and I cannot believe the brown/black water that collected in the water tank! The cleaning power is excellent and suction is so high that it also grabbed extra dog hairs and dust that our regular vacuum missed. It is the perfect size, and lightweight so I was able to work easily around furniture without spending hours moving everything. I can’t wait to try the upholstery attachments!
