The SWIRLEEY Blue Lollipops - 2 Pounds - Bulk Light Blue Candy - Baby Boy Shower Candies - Gender Reveal Favors - Blue Party Favors are tasty blue and white lollipops meant for gender reveal parties but suitable for anytime at all. These lollipops are tasty. I really can't tell you what they taste like. I want to say it's blueberry, but it could be any of the weird pseudo flavors this type of candy has. It's sweet and it's a nice flavor to have in your mouth and I have no complaints about it.The design is simple. Just a blue swirl on white. This design persists throughout, so as the candy dissolves it still has that design until near the end when you're at the stick, when it turns a solid white. The lollipop is larger than I expected, maybe the same diameter as a Charms Blow Pop is thick. Maybe a hair smaller than a Blow Pop. It's on the larger size, and I was pleased with that. The stick on the lollipops caused my head to do some backflips. It's made of plastic. I couldn't figure out why a candy company would choose to make their lollipop sticks out of plastic. There are LOADS of reasons to stay with the classic paper sticks, and LOADS of reasons to NOT use plastic. Then I figured it out. The plastic sticks are a safety measure. They're hollow. You can breathe through them. If you give a child this lollipop and the child decides to swallow the stick, it'll be a problem, but it won't be a life-ending problem, because the child can still get air through the hollow plastic stick.I like these lollipops. My family likes them. Good stuff.

I'm a boy!
Ok, my gender reveal is a bit late now that I'm in my 40s and most people have already guessed by now.Anyways, the blue raspberry lollipops have a flavor that you'd expect from the description, sweet, fruit forward and reminiscent of raspberry or cherry or blue. If I closed my eyes I'm not sure I could pinpoint it but it's a classic berry flavor.I saw somebody else review this and they mentioned they're larger than they expected and I'd agree, they're a good full sized candy that you won't be disappointed by unless you were expecting a girl. The stick of the candy though is weird and/or annoying depending on your lollipop preferences. The bottom of the stick is open/hollow and that continues up to just below the candy itself so if you're sucking on the candy it's creating this airway for you. You will not get suction which creates a slightly less than ideal lollipop experience in my opinion. This is good for people recovering from dental surgery I guess BUT YOU SHOULDNT BE EATING THESE ANYWAYS THATS WHY YOU HAD SURGERY PROBABLY.Anyways, I like them and weird hollow stick aside, the flavor is great.
