So I bought this thing because I already had a ReadyNAS with Plex.tv installed on it, and I figured this might help me cut the cord, and dump over the wire cable with something else.I thought I'd need to buy their DVR Annual subscription, but my Plex Lifetime took over and all is good there.About the only complaint is this bundle. If you live anywhere that VHF stations exist, the small indoor antenna will not be good enough. Buy an external RCA Antenna.

I've been using HDHomeRun for years. I wanted to give my Duo to someone and upgrade to the Quattro. Worked perfectly in just a few seconds. They couldn't believe how easily the HDHR app and Kodi on their Fire TV detected the Duo. Had to delete my Duo in my Plex server and then detect the Quattro but that was also a flawless experience. My scheduled recordings never skipped a beat.

After connecting to my network the HDhomerun worked as expected. There is a small problem hence the 4 star review. Some times when opening an app(s) to access the device, it acts like it isn't working or not found on my network. Once i restart the app it works fine. I have opened the app using PC, Fire TV, Roku,and Fire stick. I also have the Plex Pass and HDhomerun works within that environment too. Were cutting the cord soon and the 4 tuners will help keep us watching our local programs.

SET-UP WAS A SNAP. As a senior with minimum skills with electronics, I was very impressed with how easy the Silicon HD HomeRun Quatro set-up. The SiliconDust set itself Up - with the first try. Followed the easy to read directions and I enjoy cutting the cord with my Cable company. Before investing be sure you know how to ensure that you will receive your favorite digital stations. This little box is more than I expected. No hesitation, I highly recomend this Live TV box.

Easy to setup. Just plug in your network cable, connect antenna coax cable, and plug in power adapter. Open the app on your phone or tablet and it will auto detect it on your network and auto scan for channels. I’m highly impressed!

Absolutely love it! Super easy install of about 5 minutes. i love over 60 miles from the tv towers and always had to use an OTA amplifier to pick up many channels, but with the HD Homerun i didn't need it anymore! This let me get rid of the amplifier, extra cable, splitter and power device. Before i was going to have to run cables to each room and drill through the walls, now it it all connected over wifi. I installed the app for Roku, now all 4 tv's get local channels. OTA tv along with Philo TV for $16 dollars a month for 40 channels, gives me almost 100 channels total available to watch. If you are thinking about cord-cutting, this combination of HD Homerun and Philo TV beats ANY cable subscription hands down!

Although I'm not a cord cutter, I am a cable never, and I do hate cord clutter. Since 2009 I've had 2 power cords, 2 ethernet cables, and 4 antenna cables going to and from my two original HDHomerun Units. The quatro unit is soo small compare to my old grey units it really helps clean up the clutter which was my Goal. Its also receiving a couple of channels I wasn't able to get a stable signal with. It has exceeded my expectations.
