Amazon is a marketplace and different sellers sell products for different prices. But, to answer your question, no they are built the same and only the color differs.

Can this be used for stadium seating?

Yes. The angle of the backrest is adjustable, so you can tune it to your seating preferences. The extra seat padding is very comfortable. If you are on open bench seating, you can use the straps to lock it in place and flat to the seat. If not, this will still work fine held in place by your weight.

Is this the same thing as stadium seating? These look exactly the same

Yes, very similar to a stadium seat--great for football games instead of cold aluminum bench. Has extra Velcro straps to wrap around canoe bench so it won't fall in and sink. Enjoy!

Would this work on a SUP?

The strap goes under a canoe seat and I think it would make you sit sideways on the paddleboard. So, no, I don't think so.
