Uni-ball UMR-87 Gel Pen Refill - 0.7 mm - Black Value Set of 10

I am a pen and pencil geek: I insist on my writing implements being exactly the way I want them. I have about half a dozen TUL rollerball pens that are simple, plain black, understated, professional, and INEXPENSIVE. But the refill costs are sky high! Between $7.95 and $9.95 for just TWO pen refills!These Uni-ball UMR-87 gel refills are just the ticket. For the price of two TUL refills, I get 10 from Uni-ball. They fit the TUL pen housing ALMOST PERFECTLY. And they write just as smoothly and smudge-free as the original TUL refills did. (I'm a left-hander, so a fast-drying ink is very important!) I'm not a stickler for brand names, but Uni-ball's products are very high quality, and -- let's face it -- most of the cheaper no-name or generic pens, inks, and refills are just junk.

I wasn’t sure what I’d be getting, I assumed UMR-87 per the product description, which are refills for the Uniball Signo 207. I have 307 bodies, but ordered anyway, believing they would fit, just be somewhat inferior ink (incapable of writing on extra smooth/glossy paper).But to my delight, I received UMR-87E, the refills designed for the 307. I never owned the 207, but from what I’ve been able to deduce online: while the UMR-87 ink dries slightly faster, the feel is less flowy, less wet?Anyway, ecstatic to have received 307 refills, it’s a luxurious writing experience. Pen nerds rejoice!

Fits Uniball 207 Plus body. No skipping ! Dust particles do block the flow, but only a small amount will remain in the cartridge. My kitchen table is my desk - lots of crumbs etc.

This Uni-ball UMR-87 Gel Pen Refill - 0.7 mm fits my Uni-ball Signo 207 retractable pen. It has a medium point and black ink.I originally bought my Uni-ball pen for its anti-fraud gel ink, since we still pay some bills with checks that are mailed. This refill description doesn’t mention the anti-theft feature, so I tried rubbing my writing with a wet finger (that had been dipped in water) a few minutes later. Although the water turned grey, the lines were not altered. I also washed my hands with Soft-soap and rubbed some suds on the ink lines, with the same unaltered results. So, by the time the check is in the mail, the ink should be completely waterproof.I haven’t tried out each refill, since the pen points are protected with a soft covering (plastic or silicone?). The two, that I did use, wrote immediately (ink flowed) and smoothly. It’s so convenient to find these refills online, instead of going from store to store, or peering at a wall of refill displays with my reading glasses. These are exactly what I needed!
