My service dog, Dawson and I live in Anchorage, AK. There are several close active volcanoes, and the closest is forecast for an ash eruption soon. That means getting the pup ready to deal with the hazards, and this mask was just the ticket. It has a zippered compartment for an N95 filter, to keep those shards out of his lungs. I tried it on him, and he tolerated it well. We're going to do some training on that to get his tolerance up to 20 minutes.These are great masks for use during dusty days, or high pollen, even pollution. I ordered two, so that the previous days mask can be laundered. The filters are necessary for volcanic ash. And if you're contemplating getting your canine or feline protected, don't forget goggles and booties.The fit of this mask is very flexible. Dawson is a husky/Malamute mix, 75 pounds, and picky. So I was able to work on sizing with and without a filter. You wouldn't think so but there was a change in size. Dawson didn't try to remove the mask once I got the fit comfortable for him. Please be sure to measure the length and circumference of the snout! He's able to where it 5 minutes without getting testy, but training will help extend that. Good value, good craftsmanship in the design. I recommend this for anyone trying to protect a fur baby!

Good large size, fits my very big Rottweiler (though, he doesn’t care for it). Will do the job when the volcano blows!

Though, it took Forever to arrive... I must say the Quality is Top Notch!!! If this is something you may need for your dog, I would definitely buy. High quality, adjustable and very well made. Since the uptick of fires in CA recently, I felt this is something my dog may need. hopefully not but it's better to have and not need, then need and not have!

This mask is ridiculous. I waited two months for it to get delivered. Not sure why anything should take that long. I measured my dogs’ snout and went by the sizing chart. It is HUGE. Also, it has heaps of off-gassing and even my guide dog, who will tolerate anything, was NOT having it.

ordered a large for my malamutes, they look like they might fit a large rat....

The adjustable strap on this dog mask is fantastic! It fits my poodle perfectly, and she doesn't seem uncomfortable at all. The material is soft and breathable, which makes long walks much easier in smoggy conditions.
