I saw there were somewhat cheaper spaghetti measuring tools, but they looked cheap and rough-edged and I wondered if the steel might rust. There's always a splash of water lying about in a kitchen. I am very glad that I paid some more and bought this measurer. It is a bright, handsome metallic, measures generous portions, but suitable for the number of people involved, and it is pleasant to handle because the edges are all rounded.

I've used this a number of times. I usually find that I have to fudge the measurements a little for the portion size I want but it's so nice looking and feels so well made that I enjoy having it hang on a hook in my kitchen. I've given a second one as a gift that was well received.

I bought the rose gold … very pretty and very well made! And I love the feel of it! It takes the guessing out of the portion size, which is why I wanted this handy little kitchen tool.

Better looking than most. Good for a single serving. Sigh. I remember when they used to be printed on the pasta box.

Well built and pretty too. I was trying to cut down on portion size and this was even more than usually use with eyeball measure. If the portioning works for you it’s a great purchase

I think brands that sell foods say the serving size is smaller, so they can list fewer calories per serving.I always use what the box calls "2 servings" (which is a plate of spaghetti), so the 1 serving on this utensil is perfect for me. I'm a 170 lb male.I measured what I needed and compared it to the product details before buying. It is 100% accurate as described.Been wanting one of these for many years but couldn't justify it until I saw this on sale. I like the thickness and small size and finish. It will be easy to find in the drawer and I don't have to worry about it getting bent.Time will tell how the finish holds up. I have high hopes.

This thing is huge. Very pretty rose gold. The single serving portion looks a little large but I haven’t tried it yet.

My last spaghetti measurer was a Tupperware product that got too close to a heat source and melted. I splurged with this one and it is shiny, smooth and hefty and will not melt easily. I am happy with my purchase.
