Not as Challenging as it may seem , but pretty good overall
Four stars for now because I'm not finished.Let me start by saying I bought this for a friend that loves watching engine and car rebuilds. This kit, however is better suited for persons who are patient, enjoy structure, following the rules and like to work in quiet calm . For my friend the idea of sitting and following 76 pages of detailed instructions while identifying the required parts was more daunting than fun.I took over after they began substituting parts when they couldn't find the correct color. Note: Prior to starting this kit I had 0 interest in engines or engineering. Halfway through I find myself excited to see how each part contributes to the overall function. This kit is relaxing for someone that:* Enjoys sorting and arranging objects* Finds satisfaction in getting everything right before moving on to the next step*May not have a lot of experience with building complex models but enjoys logic and puzzlesSo far:1. Before you start you need to have 6 AA batteries to test the battery pack.2. If you have the space, empty all the bags labeled 1 first and portion out the parts for each step. For the first 20 steps I needed to open multiple bags to get the parts I needed. As at step 85 I have opened all the bags.3. Some parts have different lengths , the guide has drawings that you can use to measure the parts against so you use the right size.4. I found the instructions fairly easy to follow and the parts snapped together easily. My fingers did get sore after a while. The gears move fluidly and apart for some slight confusion around steps 9 -20 (figuring out the correct angles) movement everything else so far has come together splendidlyI've spent maybe 3 hours in total so far and I have no complaints, no missing parts and no assembly issues. Will update once completed.

Another cool engine for the desk
For the last 6 months or so, I've been bringing my powered engine brick sets into the office and showing them off on my desk on my in-office day each week. My co-workers love them and find them interesting, and it's nice to see who the real gearheads are at work. This set is presumably meant to model the legendary Rolls Royce V12. If so, it does a pretty good job. Of the 25+ engine sets I've built, mostly from Mould King, this one probably runs the smoothest. The assembly was fairly straightforward, but I may not be a great reference for that because I've done numerous engine sets, 60+ other powered builds (mostly RC robots), and am a fair hand working on actual engines. But that said, the instructions are well illustrated, and if you just take your time and make sure each brick is very securely in place before proceeding, this set should work quite nicely for you. As with the other Mould King sets I've done, all the pieces were there, with a few extras. Overall, this is a fantastic engine build at a great price. If you're a seasoned brick set builder and are looking for something a bit more challenging and fun, give this set a try.

A great building set.
This building set includes blocks packed into labeled bags, instructions, a motor, and a battery pack. The blocks are compatible with major brands and have various colors. The motor functions as expected. However, the battery pack has six compartments for AA batteries, one of which is designed in a way that makes it difficult to insert and remove a battery. The instructions appear to be clear.Overall, I am very pleased with this product, though there is an issue with the design of one battery compartment. A different design could facilitate easier installation and removal of batteries from this compartment. I can’t wait to see the final outcome.

This model engine kit forsure will be fun to build! Very detailed also.
I have always wanted to get one of these model engine kits that also runs for awhile now so when i saw this RR V12 engine kit i was pretty happy and grab it. While right now i need the time and also the room to start building it cause i do have cats so i can't just having it laying around at the moment but it forsure will be a fun weekend project for when i do.I was very surprised how detailed every part looks and they come in these bags that is also numbered and they do look like they well made and should not have a problem with putting each one together and i also like the look of the battery box and motor and like how the motor clips on the battery box which is also a solid connection also and it's nice seeing that it also has a power on and off switch cause some kits i saw before did not have one and you had to unplug the plug each time, And another thing i like is it takes 6 aa batterys instead of using triple aaa batterys or a single 9 volt which i prefer everything i get to use aa batterys. While i have not build it yet but i will when i have time and a stable area to do it at i do not see any cons with it and looks like every piece is there when i went through them, And the instruction book that's another thing i was surprised about its very detailed and it shows you every step to build it on each page which for being my first engine model kit it should be very easy and fun to do i can't wait when i get time to do so and when i have it finish i will give a update forsure.Gets a big thumbs up from me i like it👍

Fun for kids!
I have a 14-year-old daughter that’s into cars and my husband and I bought this for her birthday. She loved it! It occupied her for hours and she was so proud of herself when she got it finished and the engine started! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it’s VERY fragile. I know that legos when assembled are always a bit fragile but we couldn’t even move this onto her shelf without it falling apart. Not a deal breaker but if I could do it over again I would probably have her put it together right there on the shelf she wanted to display it on.
