Really effective and nice color
I use this to set a concealer to cover a scar on my shoulder. Before, I used dermablend clear setting powder … Honestly as former makeup artist I do think it’s nice to have a colored setting powder and a totally clear one, but the colored one can be used by itself and I feel more comfortable using that on my face for photos … needless to say, I took a chance on something new from a company I never heard of and was super impressed with the choice!!

All round a good product but might need more than one try to get used to blending it
Worked fine for setting purposes, but was a bit of a battle to blend off after I had applied the rest of my make up. Will keep using the one I got. Hopefully it was just the one time I used it/off day that was the issue

Misleading color description
This has a white caste. I thought it was a dupe for the translucent powder in deep by CoverFX. It's not. Deep is inaccurate for this product. It's definitely not for brown skin. It also set's into creases and cakes.

One of the best Setting Powders for tanned, oily skins!
I am NC35 in MAC. Chinese (very yellow) medium tanned face. Add to that an oily complexion in a humid climate. Been trying several setting powders but kept coming back to Elizabeth Mott's.This Medium Deep powder looks somewhat light shade at first, but it blends in beautifully without being deadpan matte. It has above average oil control and looks great in pictures! As of now, this is my Holy Grail! Thanks EM for creating this god-sent powder! =D

Best setting powder ever!
I never like to spend a lot on makeup products but with this I decided to give it a shot since it was advertised to be darker-skin friendly. I recently tried it and I’m honestly shocked at how amazing this is. For years I would be scared to bake due to fear of looking ashy and having flashback - I never have to worry about that again with this product. I knew by the color of the powder that it wasn’t going to look ashy on me. Also, I took a look at the ingredients and compared it to a cheaper setting powder that caused flashback and noticed that it doesn’t contain talc. That may have something to do with it not having flashback. I’m honestly considering buying a backup. I’m OBSESSED.

on the fence
This leaves a white veil for a minute......I have had some good translucent powders that literally any race can wear. I am a darker complexion black woman and this left the white hue..... But it does the soft focus and reduces my need to blot about 25%.

Keeps make up in place!!
I love this setting powder!! I was going to return it but after I used it, I noticed little to no transfer of my make up after I touched my face or put my clothes on, I even wore a white shirt!! So worth it, I will order again!!
