Sandal (Sandalwood) - 120 Sticks Box - Darshan Incense

My husband and I really enjoy Sandalwood incense in general. It is our go-to scent, but we were nervous about buying it online without giving it a pre-purchase smell. We were not disappointed with this product. It is a great, spicy Sandalwood! And you can't beat the price! We will buy again.

120 sticks is a lot of sticks! The smell is great. Very strong, though. I wouldn't recommend lighting one of these in a small room. Pretty excited to light one in my apartment when it's warm enough to open the windows. I think this smell mingled with some fresh air would be awesome. I would totally buy these again... as soon as I burn through all of these sticks.

I love this incense. It has an extremely pleasant aroma. The packaging is very nice and the amount you get makes this a great bang for your buck. I definitely will be burning this stuff and plan on ordering again!!

When you go to leave a review for Amazon and you hover over each star before clicking your assessment of the product the text changes from "I Hate It" to "It's Okay" to "I Love It" with a little in between. Here's the thing. The incense came quickly, well packaged, nothing busted up, burns well, etc. It's fine, it's great, I should give it 5 Stars because it's not a crappy product. But that's not the way the reviews work. For me this incense is just "okay". Thing is it just isn't the Sandalwood smell that I know and love. Is it their fault? No, this is a tough thing to buy online. I don't have the smell-o-vision app. I like the woodsier, bitter smell of the Morning Star Japanese style Sandalwood where this has a smell closer to some sort of perfume, too sweet for my view of how sandalwood should smell. Problem is, I can get 50 sticks of the Morning Star for $4 or these 120 larger sticks for only $8. This is a GREAT deal and if you like the smell... even better! I'm not a huge fan but will use it up over time.

The gas station I used to buy this brand from quit carrying these so I found them on Amazon. Much better price here. They smell great and hardly ever go out after lighting like some other brands. Scents are obviously going to be personal preference but everything I have gotten from Darshan has been top notch.

Awesome price, awesome scent...I highly recommend this incense. It is the only scent that I will buy. It is not perfume-y...it's woody and pleasant.

More of a strong perfume smell, than sandalwood. Not what I was looking for.
