Always a fan of Technic style build sets and car engines are of course another very interesting topic I enjoy. Picked up this kit because it hit two of those ticks and had just finished another Legos kit prior.First thing you notice is how the bags are separated into various bags based on what you'll be working on at the time. The one thing about it is, a lot of the bags had the number 1 on them and for the first part, I needed to open up a grand total of 5 bags as parts were scattered around between different bags and just made a big mess of parts to sift through for a set step.Next thing is the instructions. They work. Do they work well and are easy to understand? Kind of. They do what most Lego instructions do which is show the different assemblies that get attached at the step you're at and actually have scale pictures for rods and longer blocks so you don't need to count each hole to make sure you have the right one. They are a nice general guide but they do still make you need to do a little more thinking to understand how parts get attached and to where.Last thing that kind of killed the enjoyment for me was just how the bricks and parts snapped together. Some of them required just a lot of force to push into place or were too loose compared to the mirror part on the opposite end. The beginning half of this was just trying to keep the parts in place while needing to spin around and manipulate it to get things in place and that was very tedious.This is a nice and interesting kit but be warned it is labor intensive. Been working on it off and on for about 12 hours since getting it and still only finishing up the engine block. It just has a fair bit of parts that need better QC for fit and finish.

Great hobby engine. My teen is i to building real engines and he loves stuff like this as well. This one is good quality and turns the items in the motor decent.

Bought for my 22 year old brother to keep busy while healing from surgery. It is very detailed and well made. Directions are thorough and easy to follow. Great product, will buy more products from Mould King.

Great item, needs better instructions, parts fit exceptionally well. Takes time to build.
