A good case but could use some improvements
Its a good waterproof case but it is far from perfectPros* Case looks rugged and protective not to mention stylish.* Its waterproof I tested in a bathtub and a garbage can filled with water and it didn't leak and it was submerged there for over and hour.* Not excessively bulky and works flawlessly with Samsungs fast convertible wireless charger which isn't the most case friendly wireless Charger.* It comes with a headphone adapter unlike other waterproof cases out there.* Sound Quality while not perfect is certainly not bad and voice calls and Speaker playback work just fine.* It has a wristrap attachment for lanyards which can help with avoiding drops as well as preventing the phone from sinking if you decide to use a floating one.Cons*The screen protector: Most of the case's problems come from the Screen Protector. It isn't the most clear and it does degrade the screen quality, not to mention touch sensitivity needs improvement and I have to type harder than normal.*Fingerprint film: The fingerprint sensor does work but you need to install the phone correctly and even if you do it requires a harder press.* It doesn't include a case key (or at least mine doesn't) to open the case which helps ease to open the case.* No lanyard included: This is not a deal breaker but when all the competition include free wrist straps and lifeproof doesn't it's strange.Overall: Its a nice case to own but it has a few flaws that's should be noted.

Why the bad reviews?🤔
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. After being a die hard Griffin case survivor fan (swore by them even told people at work about them never bought anything else) I had to get a new phone. The s9 plus. Sadly I like my industrial protect your phone cases. No water dirt sand. Well found this. The reviews made me worry a bit not gonna lie. But, got it put it on the phone and this thing is awesome. Screen works fine for me the edge thingy touch sensitivity I didn't even have to turn on the little extra sensitive setting. Got the clip recommend for the case as well also seems and works well. And surprisingly, I don't normally use the speaker phone nor do I listen to my music through the phone I use Bluetooth but I tested both out and they don't sound too badd compared to what I'm used to with an industrial phone case. Always thought it was a trade off. Protect your expensive phone lose some things like being able to hear as well or others hearing you or distortion of music. I always use a headset because of that and if I don't want to now well as I said phone sounds fine. Friends could hear me even when not on speaker phone and it seems well made and stylish. Part of the reason I'm an industrial phone case person they are the only ones that have clips. I don't can't stand my phone never had it in my pocket and being a construction worker I need something protective. So if this case holds up say, 6 months? It's worth it to me even if I need to buy another one. Just one person's opinion I guess.

I wanted so badly to like this
I wanted so badly to like this case. It was replacing a different style lifeproof case that I had that had all the rubber fall off. THIS case is nice and thin and seemed to seal nice and tight. Unfortunately too many issues for me to look past. The biggest issue I had was that you CAN NOT use the fingerprint on your phone. I use this to log into my phone and almost every app I use on the phone. This was a major inconvenience. I tried to look past it and adjust but I just couldn't. Also the screen on the front wasn't flush with the phone, you could kind of push it down when touching the face of the phone. Also you could see rainbow marks on the screen. This is the 2nd lifeproof case I purchased both different models, and I can now say they won't be getting anymore of my money. You'd think with as expensive as these cases are they'd be made to fit the phones they are designed for correctly.

Good case
Update 5/1/20: after getting 2 free replacements for this case from Lifeproof I have discovered the button issue may have been caused by pulling out my pop socket to roughly. On the 3rd case I've had now for several months I have intentionally pulled out the pop socket by the top then bottom in stages instead of yanking it all at once. This is the longest I've had this case without any button issues and when I take the case off to clean my phone the back of the case is not warped. So either Lifeproof did something to correct the issue or the care I've taken in using the pop socket on the back has done the trick. Lifeproof was stellar in replacing two cases after I explained the issue both times!I like the case. Really wanted the coral color to be a lilac like the version that is made for the iPhone. Is a good case though.Update: 5/4/19 - The side buttons on this case are going bad. I bought it in November 2018. I loved this case. About a week ago the right lock screen button started becoming difficult to use as far as pressing it and it locking my phone. As of yesterday it does not work at all. I cannot lock my screen, restart or shut off my phone with the case on. Last night one of the left buttons started doing the same thing. I would press it and it would not do what it's supposed to do when pressed until after I pressed it 2 or 3 times. I have the Samsung s9+. I removed the case and tried pushing out the rubber buttons and replaced the case and it seemed to help once, but once pressed it just pushed it back in too much and does not work. It doesn't even look like the buttons are pressed too far in, but I guess it's enough for them not to work. While having the case off I noticed the back of the case is warped. I have no idea how that happened. I've taken the case off before to clean the screen and did not notice the back being warped and at the time the buttons all worked. Of course the return time has passed so I have contacted the manufacturer to see if they will replace it. This is very disappointing. I didn't care for the coral color, but really like the lilac part of the case and was very happy with the case until the buttons starting doing this. Hoping the manufacturer will give me a new case and the buttons do not go bad.

Not worth £RRP
Just recieved a lifeproof fre for my s9 plus on amazon however i feel that £70 is far too much to pay for such poor design...1. The screen protection gives a grainy resolution2. The fingerprint scanner doesn't work at all (this should've been tested in R&D and agreed theres no point having the fingerprint area in the case... rather just remove it, make it all plastic and say its a drawback of having a waterproof case)3. The headphone jack adapter will most likely be lost in a matter of days and there should be something on the case to hold the cable or made into a lanyard so its not lost easily.I'm sure a cheap phone case company could've done a similar job like the 'I blason' for about £50 cheaper

Over priced, poorly fits, fingerprint sensor does not work
2 months in and I'm very disappointed with the case. For the amount it costs I expected something flawless. The finger print sensor does not work with this case.I'll start off with positive - the case will survive anything you throw at it and that suits my adventurous lifestyle. It's very solid.Apart from that, it's awful.Intially, it fitted the phone perfectly, after about a week of use the screen of the case started to stick to the phone produce an air bubble type effect. The rubbing grip around the camera disintergrated after around 10 days leaving black rubber mark on anything it touched.1 month in the sides of the case screen started to raise from the phone so you have to press very hard (even with the touch setting enhanced) to make it work. I took the case off at this point (for the first time) and 2 of the inside rubber inlets that grip the phone fell off.2 months in (now writing this review) it's impossible to use the edges of the phone. I can't type with the case on but can navigate basically. I'm now buying a new case.

Terrible sound quality on calls
Terrible sound quality on calls. I can hear people fine, but they can hardly hear me.Screen is too reflective in sun light and finger print scanner cover seems we, like the seal will break over time. That aside, its a slim case for full waterproofing. just look after it

Will protect phone, but makes touch screen difficult to use
I preordered my LifeProof Fre case for my new Samsung Galaxy s9+ as soon as possible, but was sadly disappointed once I had it on my phone. I had had a LifeProof case for my old s6 that I had loved, and which had protected my phone from all manner of abuses.I used a screenless UAG case until I got my LifeProof case, but I actually might switch back to the UAG case due to the difficulty using the touch screen with the LifeProof case. Once I had it on my phone - and this case is extremely hard to open, which I suppose is good in a sense as it will really protect the phone - I found it very difficult to use my phone. I had trouble unlocking it. I had trouble even typing this review, so am using my laptop. I use my phone a lot for business, and I don't think I'll be able to manage if it's so hard to type through the LifeProof case, which is not flush with the screen. It might be designed that way to better protect the phone, however it significantly decreases the phone's functionality to the point where I don't think I'll be able to use it. I have to press very hard on the screen, which is frustrating. It's possible I will get used to pressing harder, but it can't be ergonomically correct.
