TM Trailer/Truck DM16004 Rubber License Plate Holder Bracket, Deluxe-Max, Frame

I've lost 3 license plate before I bought this holder. The idea is simple and works extremely well. It's sturdy enough to keep the plate attached. I've installed it on a business flat-bed trailer that consistently gets abused and drive through and over rough terrain that has caused the loss of the 3 previous license plates. This one has held up quite well in it's first 2 weeks of use on the trailer through some tough terrain. The idea should work well for fishing boat trailers because as well. The plate simply lifts up freely when brush, road/terrain, debris and water forces it upward which prevents bending, breaking or worse. The price is not very user friendly but the cost of replacing a license plate, time it takes to replace the plate and possibly a traffic ticket might make this worth it.

Great product, high quality materials

I installed new brake and running lights on my boat trailer. The light kit came with a plastic license plate holder. It cracked and I lost my license plate the first time I took the trailer to the lake. I no longer EVER have to worry about losing another plate. Overpriced? Yep. But this is thick flexible rubber that isn't ever gonna fail.

Used this on my boat trailer. The positioning of the plate has to be low to stay out of the way of loading the boat. So it can easily scrape the ground on driveways and such. This solution is perfect. The plate is protected, and simply bends upward to clear the ground. The rubber is stiff enough to keep the plate correctly positioned when it does not need to bend. Seems very durable. I expect it will last a long time.

It may be expensive for a piece or rubber, but let’s face it, to go look for it and cut it and drill would be tedious. Fact is that it works very well, very simple and I am sure will last a long time.

Biggest concern was the bolt spacing on the piece that attaches to the brake light. Fit perfect. Waterproof rubber which is great for a boat trailer. Tad expensive, but is working fine.

I had a plate holder on my trailer but going over a bump and having it tear off, really needed something that was flexible. This plate holder is just the ticket. Very easy to install, and have gone over many bumps with no damage. Worth the money!!

Great quality and great idea. I like it a lot. I think the price is a bit high for what it is but if that doesn’t bother you go for it.
