You get what you pay for
Bought these for a fun activity with the grandkids while on vacation so I wasn't expecting a museum quality work of art. But I only give it three stars because of the packaging. No box, just a plastic sleeve with each canvas folded in half with the paint and brushes tucked in between. I will be pleasantly surprised if the tiny containers of paint are enough to finish these pictures. If they like it, I will buy better quality next time.

Good for the price, but you may want to buy some additional brushes
This kind of simple painting can be a form of meditation. The goal is not to create art, but to find a way to slow down life a little by the application of paint to canvas, in small, mind-emptying strokes. It's therapeutic. The packaging for this kit is simple - just the canvases, the brushes, and paints in a plastic bag. The canvases are all folded together, which means they all have a wrinkle in the middle. That seems to fall out within a day of being taped or clipped to a work surface. Each image has a separate bag for the brushes, paints, and a small reference image. There are no instructions, but this is paint by number and not brain surgery-by-number, so it's likely you'll figure out what to do or you've done this sort of thing before. The paints were all properly numbered, as were the canvases, so it wasn't really a problem. The numbers on the canvas are easily distinguishable but, like most kits, in black ink which makes them hard to cover up. The individual areas are filled with shades of gray, like a grisaille layer, which is great because it makes it really easy to tell which shape is which color.Paint quality is pretty decent. The paints didn't have to be watered down to get them to a usable consistency, as has occurred with some other kits. Colors are a little streaky but multiple coats are almost mandatory anyway to cover the numbers. The brushes were a weak point and where the set loses a star: they were very cheap, with stray hairs that had to be trimmed from the outset. The sizes were good for the work, but a cats-tongue brush between the large flat and small point would have been nice. There was also some included mounting hardware? A couple of screws that probably could have just been left out. I'm not sure this is exactly the sort of thing you display, but if you do, you'll want some sort of frame and it will have its own mounting hardware. In conclusion, a nice kit and a good way to de-stress after work for 20 minutes or so each night.

simple, modern, cute
These are great pictures. I love the simplicity and style of them. These are great for a beginner or I can even see this being a fun paint party activity for adults if you have a few hours. These take a bit longer than they look, depending on your level of perfection.I would suggest a few additional tools. I would get some clear gesso and some affordable mini paintbrushes. You can complete these with the materials provided but these extras make it a much nicer experience. The letters are very tiny and you will need a very tiny brush to get that level of detail. You could trim down one of the included brushes if you wanted to.This has a lot of yellow and brown. This is where the clear gesso comes in. By nature yellow and brown (and some red) pigments are streaky. It's not an indicator of quality, it's just how the paint is, even professional quality paints. The gesso will cut down on the number of layers that you need for opacity. The background color only took two coats but the dark brown and red brown took 4 or 5. It's not really a big deal but gesso will take this down to two coats. The paints are very nice. The texture is perfect. They are creamy and not too runny and not too thick. There was plenty of paint leftover. Like tons. Running out will not be an issue.

Super value at a bit over $4 each
First, there are 6 canvases, 6 sets of paint, 18 brushes, mounting kit, and painting guides. A bit over $4 for each painting! In my opinion, these are a real value for learning or practicing art painting. The brushes aren't the greatest and the paint will require several coats to fully cover the numbers.I originally ordered these as something to keep my granddaughter occupied, while teaching her a skill at the same time. They look like fun and I may just try one myself. The price of under $5 each, a real bargain to learning the skill of painting.

Canvas is not stretched on frame
I didn’t realize until they arrived that the canvas is flat, it’s not stretched over a frame. So while I appreciate the hooks and screws, they’re useless unless you have a frame lying around.

Intricate posters —great for leisure
I got this for a girls paint and sip night. The pictures are nice and big. This is a very intricate painting so it’s nice for a raining day or a time when you’re not rushed. The numbers are small but visible enough when you look closely. There is also paint included. The canvas is thin and comes rolled up, so you’ll have to put something beneath it.
