Puroast Low Acid Ground Coffee, Bold Organic French Roast, High Antioxidant, 2.5 lb

My wife likes this product and orders a 2 1/2 pound bag when she orders. The expiration date is usually over a year out. This 2 1/2 pound package came with an expiration date of four months. She will end up wasting a lot of this, since it won’t be used up prior to the expiration. Disappointed with this shipment.

I am so happy I found this coffee! A very good value for the money, plus a real dark roast that will not affect your stomach! This is the darkest roast that I have been able to find among several brands that I have tried. And you get way more for the money that the others. Try it, you will be very happy you did!

i needed to find a low-acid, decaf coffee that didn't suck. This product excels, for sure. And, at least as of October 2022, is the best cost-effective answer

I have been drinking this coffee consistently for over two years. I was fortunate to discover it's smooth rich taste and nothing, simply *nothing!!!* comes even close. I love both the house blend and the dark roast, but mostly drink the house blend. Organizc low acid and rich...what more could you ask for? Definitely 5*.

I am totally enjoying this coffee. I have tried a few flavors and like the all, I even mix some together to make new flavors lol I recommend it for sure. I have struggled with not drinking coffee because of the heartburn. but this lets me enjoy it with out the side affect. thanks

I get this on Prime Subscription service monthly. Works great for my wife's gastritis since she can't function without coffee and needs the low acid. However, the past two months, we've received bags that very clearly say Ground coffee on the bag, but were filled with whole beans instead. Not an issue for us since we have a grinder and the fresh ground tastes better anyways, but I'd be very upset if we'd gotten this and didn't have a grinder. Puroast also recently added an internal ziplock-type seal to the inside of the bag, which is nice when it works, but often stays closed and one side peels off the inner bag making it useless.Bottom line, good coffee, but Puroast needs to get some quality assurance on their bags and product packaging process.

Delicious coffee without the heartburn and discomfort of a high acid coffee of other brands. A bit on the expensive side but not overly. Best buy.

This coffee tastes great and is easy on my stomach. Also cutting back on caffeine. Large bag lasts for weeks.

I don't write 1-star reviews much, but this coffee was terribly disappointing. We're not even picky coffee drinkers, but this stuff smells and tastes like chemicals whether it's ground or freshly brewed. I even tried salvaging a fresh pot by pouring it into my creamy iced smoothie and, when I opened the blender, it smelled like chemical fart... I sh!t you not! Furthermore, we could not find anywhere online explaining how they decaffeinate their coffee and their support email declined to answer our question about this, so I suspect they use formaldehyde processing, which might explain at least some of the chemical smell and taste. But even other decaf coffees using formaldehyde still don't taste this undrinkable, so something else is clearly going on in their coffee processing. We had been super-excited to try this low-acid version, but it's not even drinkable enough to give it 2 stars. I suggest you save your money for a luxury food (like coffee) that's at least enjoyable.

Puroast is the best priced coffee I have found here on Amazon.ca. It certainly beats the price of any coffee I can buy locally. But I found the flavour a little strong. They don't tell you on the label, but this is a pretty dark roast. I don't really dig the flavour of dark roast, so I use less of it when I brew. Which I guess is good because it make the coffee last longer. I mix this Vanilla coffee half and half with the Puroast Mocha Java Decaf coffee.

I was searching for a low acid coffee because of issues with heartburn. We've tried this coffee, but unfortunately don't particularly care for the flavor... too used to our local coffee shop, I'm afraid. As this wasn't cheap, it turns out to be something we had to try, but will likely not make use much. E for good Effort. Might be tasty for those who are coffee connoisseurs, which we are not.

very good coffee - I actually felt better after just a few days. I am a heavy coffee drinker - pot a day at least, an I never suffered. I add an extra smidge of coffee to the pot because I like it on the strong side but no complaints & much praise.

I drink only Puroast coffee - Chemo & removed gall bladder have left me very sensitive to acid. What's a coffaholic to do?? Absolutely no pain with this coffee & it's delicious too .
