Truly, plug-and-play! Rock'n speeds!
I wanted to connect two buildings using fibre. I bought a pair of these media converters and they are truly plug and play. I ran some network (iperf3) tests and attached are the results. The network was in (slight) use but you'll get an idea of the performance. Two Linux computers, no resource bottlenecks on either.

Me funciona perfecto para no usar cable de red tan largo y me conecta sin problemas y sin configuracion, yo en mi caso necesite 2 ya que los switches que tengo no tienen fibra y los convierto a travez de estos equipos sin problemas

Problemloser Einsatz
