Easy to use around the chicken coop
We keep a small chicken coop in the backyard, and snakes were a recurring issue. These natural oil snake repellent pouches were just what we needed. I tied them to the coop fencing and tucked a few near the nesting boxes. No snakes since — and the pouches still smell great after nearly three weeks. Previously used mothballs (bad idea) and a granular product that attracted ants. These pouches are cleaner, safer, and seem to repel not just snakes but other pests too. Very happy with how simple and effective they are.

Kids and pets friendly snake repellent
My backyard is used daily by my kids and golden retriever, so I needed a safe solution. The stuffs are just perfect—natural, effective, and non-intrusive. I hung them on fence posts and by the garden. Not only have they kept snakes away, but the smell actually helps with other pests too. So easy to use!

Works surprisingly
Our stone retaining wall in the backyard is a known snake hotspot. I’ve used snake sprays before, but they smelled horrible and barely worked. These snake repellent pouches with natural oils changed everything. I tucked them behind stones and near the garden beds, and after a week, no more snake sightings. The scent stays strong even after light rain. One pouch covers more area than I expected. What’s better, the pouches don’t create any mess or residue like granules. Compared to a national brand I picked up at the hardware store, these actually last longer and are easier to apply. Would buy again.

Safe and effective for the garage
We put the dog food in the garage. Unfortunately, it attracted snakes. Besides, we also saw snakes in the yard a week ago. After clearing out everything, I placed these sachets on the shelf and by the door. The smell is very obvious, the effect is very satisfactory, and most importantly, no snake comes back. Natural and safe, as described!

No more snakes in basement
Every summer, we’d find at least one garter snake trying to sneak into our basement through small cracks. It freaked my wife out. I placed a few of these snake repellent pouches around the basement’s perimeter and near vents, and we haven’t had a single issue this year. The smell is strong at first but fades to a pleasant herbal scent. What’s great is that it lasts—we’re over six weeks in and they’re still going strong. Much better than spray solutions that wear off in a few days. Easy to use, safe around our kids and cat, and most importantly, it works.

good snake repellent
We camp a lot in national parks in Utah, and keeping rattlesnakes away is a priority. I bought this all-natural snake bags and spread it around our tent and picnic area. It worked immediately, and we didn’t have a single encounter. The smell is strong at first but fades in a day. Each application seems to last about 3 weeks, even in dry climates. It’s compact and easy to carry, perfect for camping or hiking trips. It doesn’t bother pets or kids and safe for them. A must-have for outdoor enthusiasts!

Natural Essential Oil Snake Repellent Pouches– A Game-Changer for Outdoor Safety
For years, I’ve struggled with snakes slithering into my yard, garden, and even near my patio. Living in a rural area with plenty of foliage and water sources, snakes—some venomous—have been an ongoing concern. I’ve tried everything: dangerous sprays, ultrasonic devices, mothballs (which are unsafe and ineffective), and even physical barriers like mesh fencing. Nothing provided consistent, long-lasting protection—until I discovered Natural Essential Oil Snake Repellent Pouches. This product has completely transformed my peace of mind when spending time outdoors. Unlike other snake deterrents that rely on harsh dangerous ingredient or unreliable technology, these snake repellent pouches use a blend of powerful, all-natural essential oils that snakes find intolerable. Below, I’ll break down why this product stands out, how it works, and where it could still improve. What I Loved: Effective, Natural, and Long-Lasting 1. Unmatched Effectiveness Compared to Other Products Most snake repellents on the market fall into one of three categories: Snake sprays – Often contain unsafe ingerdient or sulfur, which can harm pets, plants, and soil. Ultrasonic devices – Claim to emit vibrations that deter snakes, but studies (and my experience) show they rarely work. Mothballs – Unsafe, illegal to use as snake repellent, and completely ineffective. In contrast, these essential oil snake repellent pouches use a scientifically backed formula of cinnamon, garlic, peppermint, and other potent oils that snakes actively avoid. Within 24 hours of placing them around my property, I noticed fewer snake sightings. After a week, even common garter snakes stopped appearing near my garden. 2. Easy to Use – No Mess, No Hassle Unlike sprays that need frequent reapplication or electronic devices requiring batteries, these repellent pouches are low-maintenance and mess-free. Here’s how I use them: Placement: Scatter them every 10-20 feet around high-risk areas (foundations, gardens, woodpiles, sheds). Activation: The oils slowly release over time, but for stronger initial protection, I lightly crush a few pouches to accelerate diffusion. Reapplication: Each pouches lasts 4-6 weeks before needing replacement (longer if kept in dry conditions). 3. Long-Lasting Protection While sprays wash away after rain, these pouches gradually release oils over weeks. Even after heavy rain, they remain effective since the oils are absorbed into the surrounding soil, continuing to repel snakes. What Could Be Improved 1. Variable Effectiveness Against Larger or Persistent Snakes While these pouches work exceptionally well for common garden snakes, I noticed that larger species (like rat snakes or copperheads) sometimes still pass through if they’re highly motivated (e.g., hunting prey). A stronger concentration option for high-risk areas would be helpful. 2. Requires Strategic Placement for Best Results If placed too far apart, snakes may slip through gaps. The manufacturer recommends 8-10 ft spacing, but in areas with heavy snake traffic, I found 5-6 ft works better. Including a placement guide for different snake species would be a great addition.
