Just as described. Worked like a champ.

I had a tough time getting some half inch vinyl tubing to fit over the barbs. In the end, I wound up sanding the barbs off and used small worm clamps to seal it up. Fits on 1/2 inch PVC pipe perfectly and the clamps do a great job of sealing the tubing against the fitting. I made it work, so I'm happy with them.

I have built an irrigation system useing 2” hose and PVC components, it works great and these are a good interface between the PVC and the hose. I would suggest using 2 hose clamps per connection because I have had the hose blown off by the water pressure.
