Heavy, Stable, Big Bruiser
I waited until some hot weather arrived before reviewing this to give it a fair hearing. It's big, it's heavy & has a wide platform so it's very stable given that it can reach the dizzy heights of 4 ft. This is a real advantage if you have pets or kids running around as it's more likely to knock them unconscious if they ram into it than it's going to fall over onto them. (ok neither is desirable but take your pick)This is a serious fan with 7 blades. Although what a 'bionic' blade is supposed to be is a mystery. The blades are strong plastic. The pedestal is easy assembly which is more than I can say for the actual fan part. It takes 2 people to get the front grill on which the instruction make sound like a doddle but it's a faff. The build quality is good once it's assembled & the build quality is good.Of course the instructions are as appalling as what you'd expect, but par for the course. There's no remote but the buttons on the stalk are big & easy to push & to understand. There are 3 speeds & a dial that allows you to set a timer so it will turn itself off which is fine if you want to fall asleep with it running. Is it quiet? Well as quiet as an oscillating fan can be. The oscillation can be stopped with the usual pull toggle on the back, the height can be adjusted, & there are 7 blades to move air around which means there is going to be some noise, depends on how sensitive you are. This is a fairly priced fan with a robust build & solid platform, a wide fan head with big blades. Because of the fiddliness of getting the grill off I expect it to be a bit of a pain when it comes time to wipe down the blades but other than that I can recommend it.

Just a fan, but its a good one
First off, this is just a fan. There's nothing high tech about it. There's no app, there's no remote. It's just a fan, but it's a good one. There's some minor assembly required, but you're up and running in less than 5 minutes, if that.On turning it on, I found it to be much noisier than my Levoit tower fan, but then that none costs three times as much as this Midea and is whisper silent. It's not so noisy that it is off-putting, but I think I would have trouble sleeping with this blowing due to the noise level. That said, this thing does cool you down. Particularly on the higher settings. The thing is very well built too, it doesn't rattle or wobble at any setting, even the more powerful ones, which is always a bonus. I've had fans which didn't stand properly on low pile carpet. This Midea copes extremely well on such a flooring. This is a good fan, I'll not be using it in the bedroom in the height of summer, but it'll definitely be used in the living room or conservatory.

Easy to set up - Decent fan
This took about 5 minutes to set up from the box and could easily be done by one person. The fan is fairly powerful and has good oscillation so works well in most small or medium sized rooms. For the value, the quality is pretty good and will work great in the summer.

Powerful and adjustable airflow
This pedestal fan has quickly become a staple in my living area during warm days. It delivers a strong, consistent airflow that cools the room effectively without being too noisy. I enjoy the adjustable speed settings, which allow me to choose the perfect breeze whether I’m relaxing or working. The oscillation feature distributes air evenly across the space, ensuring a refreshing environment for everyone. Its adjustable height lets me direct the airflow exactly where it’s needed, and the portable handle makes it easy to reposition. The design is simple to operate—just turn the knob and enjoy the cool air. It’s been a reliable and practical addition to my home, keeping me comfortable during the hottest hours without any fuss.

Powerful and effective
This fan has three-speed settings. The seven blades work together to create a nice, smooth airflow, and the 90° oscillation feature helps spread the cool air around the room, making it comfortable. It has an adjustable height. Everything does the job well. The quality is reasonably good. The build feels sturdy enough for everyday use, operating quietly and delivering powerful airflow. The 2-hour timer is also a thoughtful feature; it’s great for setting it to run when you fall asleep without worrying about running all night. However, there is a downside – when you set the timer to zero, the fan turns off immediately and does not allow continuous operation throughout the night.Overall, the fan is practical and easy to use. The timer feature is convenient; it would be nice to have the option to run it longer without interruption.

An excellent Fan - Can't Wait to Use it in the Summer!
This is a fantastic pedestal fan and I can't wait to use it in the summer and the hot weather. It has 3 speeds all of which offer a nice amount of cool refreshing air. You can also set how long you want this to blow air as it has a nice handy timer. The fan also oscillates, though you can turns this off if you wish with the simple push of a button. It's height adjustable so you can have it low down for sitting and high up for standing, adjusting it is easy. The base of the stand is pretty sturdy and heavy and even at it's full height feels immoveable and not like it'll topple over easily. With this fan, some assembly is required. You have attach the stand to the fan unit, then attach the cage and fan blade. It's easy enough to do and the instructions are fine. It is a bit of a pain trying to line up the fan cage properly but otherwise no issues. I would say that if you hear any weird noises to check the fan cage.Overall I love it and will be using it a lot of the coming months. Highly recommended.
