SHIMANO XT SL-M780 Shifters

I ordered these because my Scott Scale 760 came with just Deore shifters and front derailleur with XT IN the rear. I was experiencing chain drop out consistently and occasional misfiring in the rear...this was the ticket...New FD and these shifters!!! Now shifts are clean and super fast. Can't beat XT and SIS for the price vs. XTR (which is VERY pricey). I run a 10x2. Now my SCOTT runs like it SHOULD have FROM the beginning. I also got a bonus (usually an option) ...the covers for the REMOVAL of the optical indicators. They are superfluous, look stupid and don't even have numbers on them. A nice touch. Shipping was fast and dealer followup excellent.

Big improvement from the SRAM X7 shifters that they replaced. Smooth, crisp Shimano multi-shifting feels better than the chunky one-at-a-time stye of the SRAMs.

Works like a dream

These are excellent shifters for a customized Cannondale mountain bike. The will on my newly powder coated Cannondale with the new carbon fiber handlebars.
