A very capable camera!
I've been using the Z6 since is came out in 2018 and recently decided to get a second camera. So far the Z5II is clearly an upgrade from the Z6. No surprise as the Z6 is now 7 years old and still a capable camera; still working for me with absolutely no issues. However, the fully articulated LCD and extremely fast auto focus is a great delight. So far I am very satisfied.

Z5II Camera
The Z5II is a very capable digital full frame camera. It is very complex to set up with many in camera menus. The Nikon registration process is very frustrating with an inability to log into the Nikon website and no help resetting the password. Nikon really needs to improve their website and their help desk.

This camera is fantastic. All the camera you’ll ever need, for a great price. The EXPEED 7 processor makes it all happen: speed, precise focusing modes, BSI sensor, plus dual sd card slots, multiple picture control settings… I love this camera. Much more than just an upgrade from the Z5. Get it for weddings, get it for sports and wildlife, get it for travel, get it for portraits, get it for street photography. Get it!

Great camera for beginners and professionals alike.
I took a chance and bought this instead of the Z7ii. I’m very glad I did. It’s a perfect match with Nikkor S series Z mount lenses. Low light performance is amazing. I don’t miss the higher megapixels at all.
