Magical, Beautiful, and Useful
I can't express to you how freaking cute this is! This comes nicely packaged in a red gift box that's wrapped in plastic indicating it's new and sealed, so it would make a wonderful gift. The calendar itself comes in an acrylic box as well, I'm assuming to put your finished castle in when the year is over and use as decoration without it getting too dusty. That aside, each week is a sheet. There are some filler pages too but every now and then there are cute cutouts like a broom, the Sorting Hat, the glasses and scar, an owl, etc (see images). These little cutouts are so cute that I actually cut out two of them and put the owl on my desk and the glasses and scar in my bookshelves (again, see images). I like that the week is laid out in front of me, I can make little marks or tiny notes if need be and there's room above the calendar to write too (the whole thing comes out at the end of the week). You pull the sheet out rather than ripping it (there's a little picture that explains). It almost slides out rather than pulls out.The sheets have a little perforation. What I've done is kept the blank pieces for little notes and stuff, even bookmarks (because they're like cardstock) and recycle the rest. I obviously can't attest to the actual castle at the end, but the calendar itself is so thoughtfully made that I'm happy already and the price ($10 at the time of this review) is unbeatable compared to similar items I've seen. I love that there is also the added light and replaceable batteries.A great gift for anyone, but especially those who love magic and wizards (one wizard in particular haha). What a lovely way to celebrate or take note of the passing of time and just a cute thing to have on your desk.

Cool, but in my opinion, it's a better HP sculpture than it is a useful calendar
First, let me just say I think the colored cutout sculpture idea is great, and it's fun to peel away layers and have the castle gradually uncover over the course of a year. The quality is very good, pages are easy to remove, colors are deep and well done. The lights work fine, but you can't see them until you get deeper into the year.I think this is a great gift for hardcore HP fans, but as far as actually being a useful calendar, I don't see it. All of the calendar writing is cut out, not printed, which would be fine, except that the lettering is so detailed and narrow you can only ready the smaller letters and numbers if you look straight down on it. Based on the perforation, I suspect they expect you to remove the sheet and fold it over like a little name card...but again, the cutouts make it impossible to read without a high contrast color behind it. Maybe I'm just not understanding how this is supposed to be used, but that's my experience. I would not want to use this in my office to actually keep track of dates, but as a conversation piece, it is pretty cool. Truth be told, to me the calendar is basically just a way to make people take a year to unveil the finished sculpture, and that's not such a bad reason, because it makes it a gift that people can appreciate for a long time. If they have the patience, and interest in the little castle.

A Calendar That Transforms Over Time Brilliant Design!
This 3D Desk Calendar is more than just a way to track the days, it’s an evolving piece of art! The hidden cutouts, like an owl and a wizard’s hat, gradually reveal themselves as you tear off each page, making every week feel like you’re uncovering a little secret. The design is stunning, the build quality feels good, and the concept is truly unique.I’m especially excited to see how the final shape looks by the end of the year, it’s a fresh take on daily planning that adds a bit of magic to the routine. If you enjoy aesthetically pleasing and interactive calendars, this one is a must-have!
