I bought these grates to replace the OEM grates in a Weber Spirit II and couldn't be happier. They super sturdy and well built, retain a ton of heat, leave excellent grill marks, and are very easy to clean and take care of.They do require a bit of cleaning and seasoning before use. As soon as I got them, I tossed them in the oven cranked up as hot as it would go for about an hour to burn off whatever was left on them from the manufacturing process. Often times raw cast iron is coated with a thin layer of oil at the factory to prevent rust from forming. Then I lightly oiled them, put them in the grill, and burned them in on the highest heat for another 30 minutes, then they were ready to use.They fit perfectly in my grill. Care/maintenance is a breeze, just lightly oil them once a week or so depending on how often you use them, and brush them with a good grill brush after every use. 100% worth the price!

Better than OEM ones!!! Love them, besides great price, durable material... iron cast is much better than porcelain coated.

I've been really happy with these grates after making the switch from Weber's porcelain coated cast iron grates. I really like those grates, but they only seem to last a couple of years before the coating begins flaking and ending up in our food. These are heavy duty and I like the way they've performed through a dozen or so cooks. They do tend to be a bit harder to clean than the other grates, but they still cook well. We'll see how long they hold up.

Looks good, well made. Time will tell on its durability. Much less expensive than the local hardware store. Heavy so it’s that tells me it’s not hollow.

Don't know why I didn't choose to replace my OEM grill grates sooner! I have a 2009 Weber Spirit E210 (side mounted controls) and originally was a bit confused on which model I had. After researching my serial number on the Weber Grill support site, I found the part number and came to Amazon to find a suitable replacement.These replacement grates are a perfect fit and work great. Cooking on them is just like my original grates. Now my grill looks as appealing as the food. Glad I chose to get these replacements!
