Well Machined. Built like tanks.
Needed strong mounts for an AR-10. Worked GREAT. Installed as zero MOA / [put zero moa on bottom, and -5 on top] Torqued to 25 inch pounds, and used loctite. HOWEVER, I can't understand why Burris would charge what they do for these, and send them in a fancy expensive waterproof case, when after they have been installed, you are left with that case that your wallet won't even fit in. It's a very nice case... I cant throw it away, yet I cannot find a use for it. They should lower the price, and ship them in a sturdy cardboard box. To buy this type of case out right would be at least $25.00, and I would rather have paid less for the rings. Good and solid, I'm happy with the performance. Weird case though.

Strong hold. A little pricey but you’ll never use anything else.

Good rings
I like these rings in order to set my scope zero near the bottom of my scope's elevation travel. With choice of 0, 10 and 20 MOA inserts I am able to fine tune the zero location so most the scope's elevation range is available to click up for long range shooting.

Great rings.
I've been using Burris rings for over 10 years. They do very well from my little 22s up to hard recoiling 338LM and my old .50 BMG single shot.

A Great Solution for More Elevation
10-22 with Ares BTR 4.5-27x50Elevation was maxed out at about 150 yards with subsonics, and my base was steel bedded to the receiver years ago, so I needed a way to recover some lost adjustment range.Setup was simple and easy. Just took a little bit of math and the chart supplied in the instructions.Per the chart, at 3.5' between the rings, I would get about 40 MOA from the 30 MOA inserts.Installed as directed and everything worked out great.I went from 4 mils of Up to 18 mils, and now I can run the subs at 250 and beyond with no hold over.If you need to convert mils to MOA there are plenty of resources out there for doing so.1 mil = 3.47 MOA, so 40 MOA gave me 11.5 mils more elevation adjustment.PS: I had a video, but A doesn't like pictures of g-words in their reviews of things that go on g-words. LOL

Sturdy rock solid fit
I've used them for years on my precision long range shooting rifles . Myself, I put 10 inch lbs more torque than scope factory recommends because of the plastic inserts won't hold if you torque at specs . I have never damaged a scope and I gain up to 30 moa on average more for long range shooting.

Best rings ever! Easy install with deck of cards.
Stack as many cards as it takes under the scope so it lays in the rings. Install ring tops with 2 cards each in the gap and tighten the screws till they are snug on the cards. Now set your eye relief and torque the rings screws in a cross patteren to 10 inch lbs. Now pull the cards and continue to torque to your final torque setting till NONE of them move when being torqued. Pull the cards from under the scope and re-torque again till NONE of them move. Then again after you fire the weapon. Scope is now level with the weapon. The i use a plum bob to set my scope level. Enjoy!

Nice rings, but read before purchasing
Alright, so I've long been a fan of the regular Burris XTR rings and have several sets installed on my rifles. I've read about these XTR Signature line of rings and wanted to give them a try for mounting a Vortex scope onto my new Ruger Precision Rifle. This particular rifle has a 20 MOA picatinny rail installed from the factory. After reading the description of these rings and more specifically the section stating, "Each ring set includes two sets of concentric inserts and one set each of the following offset inserts...", I assumed that I would be able to use the "two sets of concentric inserts" to simply retain the 20 MOA configuration from the factory mounted rail. This was not the case. What came in the package instead was a single set (1 ring) of concentric inserts, along with the other advertised ring inserts. What this means for us is, since you obviously have to use two rings to mount your scope, you are forced to also use at least the +/-5 MOA set of inserts in combination with the concentric inserts. This may be perfectly acceptable for many shooters, but for me already having a 20 MOA rail to start from, I now have to choose to either drop down to 15 MOA or step up to 25 MOA; no staying at 20 MOA. Since I don't readily have 1000+ yard ranges available to me, I decided to try out the 15 MOA configuration. The deceptive description and the fact that no instructions were provided (they really should since these are no ordinary rings) aside, these are very nice and of equal quality to the standard XTR rings that I'm used to. They come in a fancy waterproof locking container that is great for housing the spare ring inserts and two torx keys when not in use.

Killer rings, ripoff price.... no ...
Killer rings, ripoff price....no way on earth these things cost 200 dollars to manufacture. Mounted on my 300 WSM with no problems so far, scope has no marks.

Excellent quality and functionality
Excellent quality and functionality, that deserves 5 stars. However clearer instructions would be nice and simpler packaging, it basically comes in a small "Pelican" like case (overkill for the need). The price is also high and the premium paid for the innovative features is excessive in my opinion which is why I give it an overall of 4 stars.
