It is a very thick petroleum jelly type cream

Q: How do I get it out of the tube? It's as hard as a rock!

after making sure the opening is clear ( use a needle or something), I just warmed it in my hands - or maybe put the closed tube in some warm water for a few minutes. Even after using 1/2 of it, it still takes some effort.
