Q: Can this cut a hole without the center drill bit?

Cut a hole using the center drill bit on a piece of scrap. Fasten the scrap (with hole) to the target. Remove the center drill bit. Cut your hole. The hole saw will stay in the scrap hole as you cut the target.

Q: One of the pins on my installation plate broke off. Before considering returning it, can I buy replacement installation plates?

You may be able to go to a store call Harbor Freight. Hopefully you have one in your State, otherwise you will need to return the kit.

Q: Is everything that is needed included besides the drill or is there anything i have to buy extra?

Complete kit, excluding drill of course. You don’t need to buy anything else.

Q: How well will this work on cigar boxes? I'm building amps & need to cut holes for speakers.

Should work fine if you take your time cutting the holes and don't force the hole saw
