Q: How many gallons does one container treat? I need to treat 240 gallons.

Each level scoop is 125mg and treats 5 gallons for 1 day's dose. There are 40 scoops in the 5 gm vial. 5 grams would treat 200 gallons for 1 day's dose.

as per the manufacturer......KanaPlex is a blended kanamycin based medication that safely and effectively treats several fungal, and bacterial fish diseases (dropsy, popeye, fin/tail rot, septicemia). Because it is absorbed by fish it is useful in treating internal infections in those situations where food is refused. It does not adversely affect the filter bed and is easily removed with carbon. When used in a medicated food mix, it is excellent for treating bacterial infections in tanks that contain invertebrates. For use in freshwater or marine aquaria.Types of Infections TreatedParasitic Fungal Bacterial ViralKanaPlex DirectionsDosing in WaterRemove all invertebrates - these are extremely sensitive to medication. Turn off UV filters, ozone filters, and remove chemical filtration like MatrixCarbon and Purigen. Use 1 measure (included) per every 20 L (5 gallons). Repeat this dose every 48 hours to a maximum of 3 doses. In cases of severe infections, it is possible to carry out two rounds of treatment back-to-back. However, this should only be done if fish show no signs of stress at the end of the first round.Dosing in FoodFeed the medicated food mix (recipe below) every day until the infection clears or up to 1 week. The manufacturer instructions are: "Use 1 level measure (included) to every 20 L (5 gallons). Repeat every 2 days until symptoms disappear or up to a maximum of 3 doses. Turn off UV, ozone, and chemical filtration. To feed, blend 1 measure with about 1 tablespoon of frozen food paste. To minimize loss during feeding use with Focus. To enhance palatability use with GarlicGuard or Entice. Food may be refrozen.Active ingredients: kanamycin sulfate (32%) Inactive ingredients: excipients (68%)"

Q: Is this enough to treat a 29g tank 3 times?

Yes, I personally was able to treat my 55g tank with it at least three times.
