Yes it is an American toy, I do see that someone is selling similar toys in Japanese writing. Buy from me and u will get a brand new toy.

Small pieces that can come off.

Q: Replacement parts? My son just opened it and the arm is missing.

Oh, No!! Amazon is good about replacing items that are broken or damaged, so that's the route I'd try. We ordered 2 or these for a couple of our grandsons, ages 2 and 4 at the time, and they LOVE this toy!! They got them for Christmas last year and they are still in one piece. Sorry, I couldn't be more helpful to you. Hopefully, you'll be able to get a new one soon and your son will have as much fun with this toy as our grandsons have had.
