This was something I needed so I could mount my ring camera and solar panel to a palm tree. I know you can’t just drill into palms so I tried finding large ring clamps at the local hardware stores and nobody had them big enough. I found this and decided it was worth a try. It was actually pretty easy to do once I understood what to do. The hardest part is cutting the stainless steel but I found some metal cutters here on amazon and they did the trick. I used metal sheers. The clamps are strong and built well. And I was able to really get everything super tight. The product as a whole functions great and did exactly what I wanted. I ordered 20 feet of it thinking it would be enough and it was, but I would order extra next time.

Very affordable solution for when you need a hose clamp, and a necessity when you need a BIG one.Larger hose clamps in stores get stupid expensive quickly - if you can even find them. This kit allows you to make your own at any size you want.The only sometimes tricky part is cutting and bending the strap so the screw clamp will grab it. You feed the cut strap through an opening that has a tooth that will catch a slot in the strap, and then you bend the strap to secure it.Occasionally the bend is at a bad spot and the tooth will jump out of the slot, and needs to be re-seated.The ability to make your own hose clamp is something any garage tinkerer or marching band parent who needs to make an emergency repair.

I bought this because my exhaust was falling apart and was trying to buy myself some time before getting it fixed and this is a great little kit to cut to size what you need it's so simple to use and very strong I needed better cutters just to cut off what I needed and it held everything together for over a year I'm very happy and I will buy more

I ordered the 20’ set but coil was short, only 18’ long. I needed 5 clamps to fit 15” diameter (48” circumference). I was only able to make 4. Band cut easily with a pair of tin snips, and assembly was not difficult following the included instructions. Only issue I had was not enough banding.

I used this to attach squirrel feeder bowls to a tree so they have a better chance of getting away from the stray cats.
