Q: Whats the difference between this and zddp plus?

Best I can tell zplus is a manufacturer of their brand zddp plus. I go by the concentration of zddp in the bottle. The cheaper ones may take twice as much 2 get what u need in your oil.

Q: i have a new (<600 miles) chevy 2020 silverado with the new 4 cyl 2.7l turbo. think this is an appropriate application?

Zinc additives and oils are more for older flat tappet engines. For a newer turbo engine id run Amsoil in it. If u think u should be running an additive than you should be using a better quality oil. Amsoil makes great stuff thatll help your engine last, especially with as thin as oils are now.
