Great pram for travelling abroad
I bought this pram for travelling alone with my five month old son. It is very lightweight, and folds up small enough to easily fit into the plane overhead luggage compartment (easier with the handle bar removed). It is easy to manoeuvre with one hand (even whilst pushing a luggage trolley with the other) and the leather handle bar is nice and comfortable to grip. The back lays down flat via an easily adjustable strap and the sun canopy is huge, with a small see-through panel on top to check on the baby without disturbing them. When folded, it can be carried over your shoulder or wheeled along similarly to a suitcase.I found it difficult to collapse the pram with one hand/whilst holding the baby going through security, but would be simple if you have someone to help. Theres not much storage space in the basket underneath and hanging bags on the handle made it feel unsteady/like it could tip over. When unfolding the pram, make sure that the frame clicks into place on the side bars, as I made this mistake a few times when the pram nearly folded back up with my baby inside!Overall, great purchase - we travel a lot so it will get a lot of use but in future will probably only use on smooth/indoor surfaces, as it’s not great on bumpy paths and felt like the wheels are not made for heavy duty usage. I plan to take my other ‘big’ pram as checked in baggage and just use this one in transit.

Nice n easy to use
Its really handy for travelling. Only thing is when you fold it, the back support doesn't seem to stay on place and gets bit bulky.

Cabin size and can be taken on the plane! Exactly what I want!
I was looking for a fully reclining stroller for my 4months DD and au came across this one around £200 on Amazon! I was trying to find a lightweight stroller for me to take on planes for a one week holiday in France with my 4 months coming as well. I have a babyzen Yoyo + which I bought for my son 5 years ago but it’s not fully reclining so either I had to buy a carrycot for Yoyo or buy a new stroller which can be taken on the plane... and I came across this one which is actually cheaper than buying a carrycot for Yoyo.My likes for this one after the holiday are:1: Lightweight but good quality and sturdy. Very similar in weight compare to my old Yoyo or possibly slightly lighter at 5.9kg compare to 6.2kg for Yoyo(I couldn’t really feel the difference) but most importantly once it’s open it feels sturdy when you push it. I think both Yoyo and Silver Cross are very good in this criteria.2: Cabin size! It can easily be tucked away in the overhead locker on the plane(easyJet is fine). This is the main reason for our purchase, we need to push the stroller to the plane’s gate. It has a three steps folding system which takes around 3-5s. I personally think the handle bar(If you want to roll it like a suitcase you have to put that on after folding which means extra time before boarding and outing on the cover is really a pain since it’s really stretchy material so it take quite a lot of effort to put it on, we completely gave up on wearing it for our flight back- just to mention, Yoyo doesn’t have a cover but a stripe to carry on board)3: Fully reclining sleeping position! This makes this stroller a Best Buy I think- no need to buy extra from birth to 6months (I only bought a footmuff/sleeping pod for around £30 to go with it which did a great drop for our snowy holiday during the Christmas in France)4: Sunshade is much bigger than many other lightweight strollers.Dislikes:1: the handlebar is lower than Yoyo so might not be a good buy for people taller than 180.2: the central weight is a bit towards the back compare to Yoyo so don’t put anything heavy on the handle bar unless you have something heavy in the basket underneath3: like many lightweight strollers, the basket underneath is very small4: opening up the stroller needs two hands and three steps instead one hand open system from YoyoOverall, I am really happy with the purchase, since it’s an all rounder lightweight stroller to be used from birth which can also be adapted to a travel system by buying adaptor for car seat. I think I will use it for many of the coming holidays!

Not worth the money
Ok to travel as fold in as a hand luggage size. However, the fold is not great, especially unfold is not working so smoothly, after pulling up you hear the click sound but the pram is not yet secure. You need to pull up the side bars after and only after the pram is secure to use. It took us a while to figure this out and when you think about it, it's very frustrating that a pram at this price is not well enough designed to unfold easily! Also I'm not sure what has happened but noticed after just one use that there was a hole in the compartment underneath.

I’ve had two and both broke within a week
I’ve had two of these in as many weeks and both have broken in exactly the same way. I thought the first one that broke was a fluke so gave it another try and bought a replacement, and it broke again after 4 days. They are lightweight, easy to fold and great in theory.. but they’re light because they’re so flimsy and the sides just snap. Defo don’t waste your money.

Simply amazing lightweight stroller
This is one of our best purchases since we had our baby, it’s carried our 7-month old through the souks of Morocco and is now the place to sleep for our 1-year old in the Icelandic countryside. It’s incredibly lightweight, can be used with one hand, fits in the overhead compartment on most European airlines, comes with a rain cover and a travel cover, and has a vent at the back for hot countries and a peep window at the top. It’s so easy to manoeuvre too. The only downside is that it’s slightly tricky to put together again and The seat is still quite reclined in the upright position, but both such minor things that they don’t deserve a star taken off. Would highly recommend!
