It starts working when the water starts flowing. It is the most reliable one I’ve ever bought!

Yes, it still works with the water pressure turned down. I just checked.

Yes that is exactly how I use it. You can place it up against a building and sprinkle away from the building a significant distance.

Yes and with a good deal of precision. I originally set mine at the side of the yard for 90 degrees and it worked, it stopped right where it sat, but there was not really enough water pressure to cover the whole area so now I use it in the more conventional 180 fashion. The new yard is looking amazing.
