Perfect component for my project
This is something I've never purchased before, but I wanted to see if this would work for a mobile that I'm making for my grandson. The diameter is very small obviously, and that's what I thought would look cool for a mobile that was made with origami birds and butterflies. It works very well and looks elegant. I did purchase some other brass rods in a slightly thicker diameter just in case these were too delicate, but I didn't need those and I'm very happy with these.I like that these rods have multiple uses and are easy to work with. Anything left over can't be considered a waste, you'll certainly find other uses for them and be glad that you have them. The price was very good, and I couldn't have asked for any faster delivery than Toysonics gave me. Good seller, I'll gladly use them again.

Exactly as specified!
I was restoring a set of mid-century CadoSystem stand-alone book shelves, that were missing a LOT of the original hardware - So I carefully cut these brass rods to length to replace the missing anti-rotation pins that keep the shelf stringers properly located.Worked like a champ, and the shelves look fantastic!

pretty good tolerances
I used these rods to mount some FingerTech pulleys. I needed to lighlty sand one of the rods because it didn't fit the 3mm opening of the FingerTech pulley. The rod is within the manufacturer's tolerance limits but the larger of limits was a tad bit too large for the FingerTech (I checked both the rod and the pulley using a micrometer). This is a bit of nit because it took a total of 35 seconds for 000 sandpaper to slightly reduce the diameter of the rod by hand. Overall, I am very happy with the product.

Fit well in my miniature pinning uses
The product is great for my miniature pinning (to hold arms, legs, etc. on the model) uses. The 1.5mm (0.059") fits nicely into 1/16" (0.0625") holes, with room for the adhesive. The only issue I had was with the shipping. It was shipped in a bubble bag and the nice straight brass rods were all bent. Luckily, I cut the rods into smaller pieces so it shouldn't be too big of an issue for me. Keep it in mind, though, if you need them all nice and straight.

Brass rods
Not sure what Neanderthal thought it was a good idea to put this in a bag, but fortunately, I think I can still use these as I was planning on bending them into rings anyway. Other than that, their brass rods, what else is there to say?
