Not bad for an infomercial product
I saw the infomercial for this countless times and thought I could really use some heavy duty tape. First, I have a minor leak in my roof that my landlord was taking forever to fix. Second, I ran over some road gators which broke and loosened some panels underneath my car. Both were successfully patched up using Flex Tape, albeit maybe for a temporary solution. However, there are a few things I need to warn you about with this product:1) There was no mention about just how sticky this stuff, at least not clearly stated on the packaging. I had gotten this tape stuck to my hands and it was not pleasant. The sticky glue also got onto my scissors and I just could not remove it until I Googled and found that soaking it in rubbing alcohol did the trick.2) The underside of the tape is coated with a plastic film. Cut the tape with the film attached first BEFORE you're ready to apply the tape THEN remove the film; I learned the lesson the hard way in #1, got it stuck to my fingers, and had a thick layer of glue stuck to my scissors, not to mention effectively wasting a good six inches of this tape.

Do not waste your money
100% a gimmick. Do not waste your money. I have an Intex above ground pool with a small tear in the liner. Flex Tape markets in the commercial, that it fixes leaks on above ground pools. The tape will not stick to the outside of the pool or the inside. It sticks briefly then immediately lifts, it will not adhere at all. Even with pressure. I tested on multiple hard surfaces afterwards, and it doesn't stick to anything any better than duct tape would. You are better off buying a package of scotch tape then wasting your money on this.

Awesome stuff
I tried the original Flex spray-on version and while it technically did as advertised, they didn't mention you might need about 10 layers for it to be really effective. ;o)So I was pretty skeptical that this flex tape would work. I needed to seal cracks in a fiberglass shower stall. It works *really* well for just that. I can't believe how well it works. After a few weeks, it's still working perfectly. No leaking! BTW, I did say cracks -- a couple of major ones too. The main crack runs about 13 inches. Even though there's flex on the floor (from me standing on it) the tape still holds incredibly well. So the tape is strong and still retains some give.Beware that this stuff is very sticky! Just getting it unwrapped and cut can be a challenge. I probably ruined 1/4 of my roll due to this problem. It does work! One tip: apply to dry, clean surfaces only. This will make the adhesive work at its strongest.

This was such a waste of money
This was such a waste of money. The whole reason we bought was to use to seal some leaks in our pool. Since it supposed to work great underwater. That's a joke. It will NOT work in water.

Awful stuff do not buy!!
Awful stuff! I expected more from the price. Too sticky to work with. Put it on a plastic crack, and two days later when pressure was applied the crack appeared. Would never recommend. Too bad I can't get my money back!

False Adverisement
I only gave it a star because you have to touch a star in order to write a review. This is a case of false advertisement. On tv it is proported to stick on many materials, such as vinyl, metal, plastic , etc. it was shown on tv to repair a vinyl pool. That is why we got it. It is supposed to work to stops leaks. That is why we got it. Even on the box it says it works with vinyl poolsl. It most certainly DOES NOT work, at all. We followed the instructions to the letter. When it would not stick to the vinyl we called the company who couldn't help at all. They agreed that we put it on correctly and did not and could not come up with a reason why it did not work. It really sounded like this has happens to them a lot. They were just no help at all.We were And am very disappointed it didn't work and outraged that the company could put out the commercial that they do, on tv.

Flex tape white worked as expected!
Purchased flex tape to cover a 4' crack along my Coleman popup front storage container. Had to use a sharp box cutter to cut the tape to the needed size of 5" x 7". Worked as expected and its keeping everything dry.
