My partner and I moved back in December and decided to get rid of our current mattress and bed frame since they were second hand and broken/falling apart. I bought a new mattress and bed frame along with a lot of other new furniture and didn’t pay attention to the height of the mattress compared to the height of the bed frame. So when we got the mattress and bed frame there was a significant gap of a few inches between the top of the mattress and the bottom of where the bottom of the head board starts. We would constantly have our pillows falling through the gap along with our phones and such leading us to waking up in the middle of the night frequently to pull our pillows back out and struggle to fall back asleep.Fed up, I went to Amazon to look for any sort of solution and stumbled upon this wedge. I was hesitant at first because a lot of stuff that claims to be California king length ends up being too short and I was worried about comfort. This ended up being an amazing purchase. It is the perfect size for a California king bed and just tall enough to help us with the gap issue we were having. It is incredibly comfortable while being sturdy, but doesn’t lose any comfort while being sturdy. Our heads don’t press down on it as much as we thought it would especially when putting pillows on top of it. My sleep quality was improved in just one night since my pillows no longer slip out and as an added bonus, I’m not waking up with a lot of shoulder and neck pain from sleeping flat on my side and now I’m more elevated. I also like that there’s a zipper so you can wash the cover if needed. My only VERY minor critique is that I wish it came in different colors so we could’ve gotten something that matches our bedding and blends in more, but again, that’s just me being nitpicky. Overall very happy with this purchase and really enjoy feeling super comfortable and waking up feeling good.

King size fit spot on. Side pocket quite handy for phone - no groping on the night stand when it rings. Covers the creeping gap without a problem, height angle is good to work with, and unobstrusive. For those (like my hubby) that don’t want a wedge at the headboard, only a few inches are lost if they scoot their pillow down. You’re looking at this because you have a gap problem, right? I spent awhile researching, thinking, and debating $ before I purchased this as although I’m on a fixed income, losing pillows and remotes and books while I sleep as driving me bonkers. This works, decent cushion and material, and no un packaging problems that a few others mention.

I am so happy I came across this item. Previously, I used various small pillows to fill the gap between my mattress and my headboard. Now I have replaced all of those little pillows with this wedge gap device. It even has a pocket on each side to the store your glasses or remote. All in all this is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.

This works well to keep the headboard in place. I do have to move down the bed a little or use a smaller pillow or I wake up with a stiff neck. It is firm. I like the color. It is a good height on the headboard to keep things from falling behind the mattress.

I like this very much, it's not big and bulky, but enough to keep the pillows upright so I can read or watch TV in bed. Very happy with it.

I was about to spend $2500 on a new bed frame. Instead I got this. It’s great and now I no longer lose my phone in the bed thanks to the pillow side pockets.The blue is very pretty. It’s well made. It’s stays put. The pillow is a good foam “firm”.

First I will say that this does what I want, it works. However, the company does not offer extra pillow cases and none of the generic extra cases I’ve found fit this specific size of pillow. If there were optional additional cases that fit this pillow then I’d give it a much higher rating, but as it is, I’d have to buy a whole new pillow for the second case.

I LOVE IT!! I purchased this to help keep my dog from falling through the bed crack, and it really works to cover the giant gap! He lays his head on it and looks out the window througout the day.
