Quick to install and lots of music/noises
My doorbell was accidentally destroyed by my son. This one looked like a good, cheap replacement option.Pro: - very easy to install- wide variety of 'ring' possibilities- volume levels well fitting- easy controls- compactCons: - music has pretty much the same electronic sound- electronic music does get on the nerves (pierces a bit)- didn't expect so many animal soundsThe sender is 1 1/2"x3"x1/2" and the ringer is 3"x3"x1 1/2"...slick and compact. The doorbell is super easy to install. The main bell simply plugs into an outlet and stays there. The button (Sender) is a little more work but nothing difficult. It comes with 2 possibilities: a very sticky, double-sided foam tape-pad (which can be cut to size needed) or two little screws. I used a mixture since only one of the screw holes would line up with the earlier drill holes. The sender comes with a button battery, in which the plastic tab needs to be removed. Removing the back of the sender was the most difficult part of this. There is a metal 'key' included, which (according to the directions) is inserted into the slot along the bottom of the back, near the battery, and then, turned. This is nothing more than a way to pry off the back. The back was a bit stubborn (I was afraid to force it too much and break of a tab), but it did need to be popped off and didn't break anything in the process.Getting the sender and the bell to connect with each other is also simple. The steps are clear in the directions, and it works quickly and right away. The music/noises do cover a large variety of possibilities from animal noises to a couple stranger noises to all sorts of music. I was a little disappointed that the instructions didn't carry a list of the tones. Also, the electronic sound of the music isn't almost always the same, but sounds extremely electronic and carries a slight high-pitch that rakes at the nerves if used often. But since our doorbell only rings (seriously) a couple times a month, this isn't a problem. It's worth the price, super easy to install and does it's job.

great doorbell!
This little Avantek wireless doorbell is exactly what I needed! Our old doorbell was on its last leg, and I didn't want to deal with the hassle and expense of rewiring. This one was super easy to install – literally just plugged the receiver into an outlet and stuck the button to my doorframe with the included adhesive. Took maybe five minutes, tops.I was a little worried about the range, as my house is fairly large, but the signal has been surprisingly strong. The button is on the opposite side of the house from where I plugged in the receiver, and it works perfectly. No missed deliveries or visitors anymore! The chime itself is nice and loud, but not obnoxious. There are also a ton of different chimes to choose from – I think I counted over 50! It was actually kind of fun going through them and picking one we liked. We settled on a classic "ding-dong," but it's nice to have options. The fact that it's waterproof is a big plus too. We've had some pretty heavy rain lately, and the button hasn't missed a beat. No worries about it getting damaged by the weather. For the price, this doorbell is an absolute steal. It's simple, it works, and it was incredibly easy to install. If you need a new doorbell, I highly recommend the Avantek Wireless Doorbell. It's a great little gadget that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Easy to install (WIRELESS)
This doorbell has so many chimes that I can change sounds for the holidays and even for birthdays it’s easy to install just plug-in on the inside of the house and peel off the paper and stick the button to the side of the door or wherever you prefer .works perfectly and the design is very expensive looking and most people think it is a video doorbell, it’s out in the weather and has held up very well still looks brand new and I can turn the volume up and down or I can move the box to another room. This was one purchase for my new home that I was really pleased with. I have had friends and family members that have ordered this Doorbell and everyone loves it

Solid Value
Replaced a Honeywell that catered to hearing impaired people such as myself. The features were magnificent. and battery operated in case power went out. Drawback was the doorbell mount was always breaking and only way to fix was to buy a whole new doorbell module. The AVANTEK Mini CB-11 wireless doorbell, had the core features I needed. It flashes as well as plays a pretty loud tone when the button is pushed outside. In that regard it needs the requirements of a hearing impaired person - get visual and audio cues someone is at the door. Remote doorbell is a good selling point - no fuss to install (like all of 41 seconds) and lights up to let person know its ringing inside. Great range. My ONLY "wish: would be the receiver was not bound to a 120 outlet. That defeats the visual queues of bell ringing if the outlet is at your back or most likely behind something. Volume/chime/and color programming method somewhat challenging to sort out but finally did. The bottom line its does its job and was affordable. Win Win. One thing I like is the ability to have multiple receivers throughout the house. THAT'S A BIG PLUS! - I give a thumbs up - damn good value for price paid. Had the right options to help a partially deaf person less reliant on others, and gives loved ones relief knowing I have yet another tool to be a contributing member of society ... not a drain.
