Delightful selection of chimes. MIDI style of common doorbell and ringtone tunes, popular classical snippets, American folk songs, pop songs, nursery rhymes, Christmas carols, and more. I was floored to hear Katyusha as an option. Easy installation and setup. Appreciated the adhesive option. Small, subtle, but fairly loud receiver. I installed two and appreciate the ability to have different tunes/receivers paired to different doors so I will know which door someone is at. Cannot speak yet to its longevity and durability, but my initial impressions are good.

This is the second doorbell I have purchased (this one in a new home). Installation was exceptionally straightforward. The range of the doorbell button to the plug-in doorbell ringer is satisfactory. The sound is sufficiently loud to be heard throughout the house, and the available tones are diverse. However, the options for bell tones were not really to my liking.

This is the second one I have bought to replace wired doorbells at our church and our home most recent purchase.Setup is 10-15 minutes after you read instructions locate the area you want the outside doorbell button to be and then selecting the type of ring you want to hear inside. Pairing the button with the plug in unit was quite simple, then all we do is locate an electrical plug in location for the sound unit in the house where we can best hear the bell sound most easily.

The trasmitter has a thin plastic isolater sheet between the battery and the circuit board. This has to be removed so that the battery makes contact and transmitter operates. There is no mention of this in the small instruction pamphlet that comes with the unit. You might be able to pull it out without removing the cover on the trasnmitter. But I didn't see it until I had removed the cover, removed the battery, checked the battery and re-inserted the battery. It was only then that I saw some reflection of light from the plastic film. I removed the battery, pulled out the plastic isolator, re-inserted the battery and the light now worked when you push on the only button on the transmitter. Then the pairing process working as described in the pamphlet.

This little Avantek wireless doorbell is exactly what I needed! Our old doorbell was on its last leg, and I didn't want to deal with the hassle and expense of rewiring. This one was super easy to install – literally just plugged the receiver into an outlet and stuck the button to my doorframe with the included adhesive. Took maybe five minutes, tops.I was a little worried about the range, as my house is fairly large, but the signal has been surprisingly strong. The button is on the opposite side of the house from where I plugged in the receiver, and it works perfectly. No missed deliveries or visitors anymore!The chime itself is nice and loud, but not obnoxious. There are also a ton of different chimes to choose from – I think I counted over 50! It was actually kind of fun going through them and picking one we liked. We settled on a classic "ding-dong," but it's nice to have options.The fact that it's waterproof is a big plus too. We've had some pretty heavy rain lately, and the button hasn't missed a beat. No worries about it getting damaged by the weather.For the price, this doorbell is an absolute steal. It's simple, it works, and it was incredibly easy to install. If you need a new doorbell, I highly recommend the Avantek Wireless Doorbell. It's a great little gadget that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Bought this to put in our kids room to ring them to come downstairs when we need them. This helps soo much when they are too focus on their tablet or with friends.

Works great! I have two gates and only wish I would have got the one with two push buttons I wish they sold just the push button . I have a small house so only need one plug in charm.
