would this work for fine long hair? Or is there a wooden comb that would be?

I have long (about mid-back) fine hair that I'm trying to encourage to go wavy again after blow-drying it for years. I really like this comb because it doesn't seem to catch my hair the way plastic combs did. It's solid and feels good in my hand.

This wooden comb is made in China.

I need to know how thick the teeth are not how far apart they are. How thick are they? Thanks
