Does the job, economically. Stows away in a small bag.
If you need a block and tackle set, this is FAR better than the bulky jute or sisal fiber ropes with the huge pullies of of that same yellow wood that airplance and ship propellers used to be made of, when I was a kid. This is tough, synthetic fiber rope, slender, and stainless metal pulleys that when not in use stow easily under the seat of your pickup truck. I have the four to one version, I pull thirty pounds and it pulls one hundred twenty. Good price, good quality. Every truck should have one.

USEFULL FOR WHAT IT IS, IF YOU KNOW ITS LIMITATIONS
i needed a way to remove the hardtop from my jeep tj by myself. a couple of eyebolts screwed into the carport header, a pipe through them, and my new, best mini block-and-tackle ever made, and i was able to hoist the top off by myself. it was smooth, operated easily, and gave me no issues at all. thanks and a big shout-out to all of the forced laborers, who made this for me for pennies a day!

Very helpful
Plenty of rope which you should stretch out. I use this for BIAB which can easily weigh 80+ lbs. I barely felt the weight.

OK for Light-Duty Lifting
This is a basic block & tackle that will give you a tremendous mechanical advantage when trying to hoist a heavy object. That being said I would be careful just how much weight you try to lift with it. The rope seems like the weakest link in the chain but the rest is not super heavy duty either. For smaller items up to a few hundred pounds I think I would feel comfortable with this but much more and I would go with something properly rated for that load.

Great product!
This thing is fun to use. It comes fully assembled. I use it to hoist my Jeep top.

cleared some things out for me
Comes pre-wired. And it's a big thing if you never dealt with pullies like I never did. Let me explain, before I got just the bearings and tried to thread the rope through them and failed miserably. So with this one at least I can see how the ropes should go. Anyways, it works perfect. The only complaint is the length of the rope. It should be 100ft! Because why not?
