Making knives!
My husband has enjoyed finishing the knives. It gives him something to do then he just gives them away. He is blessed to have the knives to work on and blessed to do something for someone else.

I use the blades to make gifts. One blade had a inclusion or hole in it

Looks good.
Not fully Damascus. The handles are welded on. They seem strong, came sharp, great for the price.

Check the photos 2 out 5 knives had defects
The media could not be loaded. Not strong metal I would consider it mid to low grade. It makes sense with the price. Important to note this is non Damascus from the middle down. It’s basically the grade you would use if these were not intended for true bladesmiths. It’s great for a hobby kit for a kid but not for someone who wants to boast a quality knife. Bummed, but the price should have warned me.

The package came from SIALKOT - PAKISTAN. Buyer beware!
Not what I was expecting. I wish I would have read the reviews first! I just recieved the knife blanks. The blade is damascus (I think) but the tang is not. Poor welding job and not a good finish on the blade either. I can see all the sanding/grinder marks withoutany magnification. The dark spots in the pictures is bad spots in the steel. I will grind a little on the damascus and re-dipp it in acid to see if it real or not. Seeing the picture of the knives it looked like a veriety of knife shapes but they are all alike. The discrition says 1095/15n20 steel but to honest I doubt it is. The package came from SIALKOT - PAKISTAN. For what I paid for the 5 blanks I could have bought 3 great quality blanks from my normal supplier. Lesson learned!

Welded Tang
The first thing I noticed was the Full Tang was not Damascus it was cheap metal welded on to the Damascus with deep inclusions in the welds

Not full tang Damascus. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
These knives are NOT full tang Damascus. The blade Damascus but the handle is not. The handle is some other material that has been welded to the blade (welds shown in pictures) The seller also only sent 4 knives instead of 5. When emailing the seller there was some resistance saying it was impossible that the didnt send all 5 knives and I needed to file a claim with the carrier. After going through Amazon and requested a refund due to both issues, I was refunded the money. The seller offered for me to keep the knives but these knives are not worth keeping so I returned the knives anyway. I would not waste my time or money on these knives or seller.
