What size screws are used to assemble ?

The table goes together through placing the frame together I don't remember what she screw but they are provided. Very easy to assemble

Can the top part be easily removed for storage?

The top is removable,but the sides are open. So I don't know what you could store in there, unless it's pillows. Everything will be seen.
