The Newton Sir Isaac Neutral Guidance Women's Running Shoes are the brands most traditional, structured and supportive running shoe to date. The shoe features highly breathable, closed mesh, prohibiting debris to pass through the exterior. Slip-proof laces with heel-securing double eyelets, cradles the foot and keeps the achilles stable. Light ergonomic support strapping provides security and ample support, contrasted with metatarsal stretch panels for foot adjustment. The mid-sole generates Action/ReactionTM technology throughout the midfoot and heel enabling the wearer to experience a highly responsive and engaging cushioning that protects and loses less energy with every step you take. Further protection arising from the beveled heel and toe provides extra cushioning during pronation of the foot. A midfoot support chassis adds stability, with an enhanced sock-liner increasing energy return and protection. Durable, high traction actuator lugs, improves stability and traction; an increased toe spring adds bounce to your movement. The pronounced heel rocker aids the gait cycle of the foot, whilst high-wear carbon rubber with traction tread improves grip.

Love these shoes
These are my wife's second pair of Newtons. She has been using them for over the last year. They are well made and are very durable. The mesh on the toe is a little wide for her taste and does let some moisture in when there is water on the course or road. For some reason the men's shoe has a smaller mesh grid on the toe. But the suppport and general feeling and protection of the shoe is great! They have great heel support and balance. They are light and I relaced the laces with elastic laces which allow for quicker placing of the shoe on the foot, It also gives a more snug feel. I have had three pairs of these shoes and love them. Like all running shoes the more mileage you put on them, you have to be aware of the wearing down and support. Overall we are very pleased with the comfort, support, durability, and feel of these shoes. I have tried before this shoe, many other shoe manufactor's styles and type but I find these are the best for us!

I've owned Newton Running shoes before and was looking for a replacement pair for the ones I wore out. I generally wear a 8.5 women's dress shoe, but wear a 9.5 in Newton's Running shoe line. The first pair of Newton's I ever owned I had fitted for me at a running shoe store and have stayed with that size ever since with Newton's and never been disappointed.I also recommend lock laces with them. Makes them keep a great fit throughout your workout or run!
