Finally
I am 61 and have hypermobile EDS, I have been on the hunt for a chair to help keep my spine from hurting. Decided to give this a try. Easy to put together, comfy, gives support in the back as well as the seat, most recliners are way to overstuffed and cause you to sink in, which is not good for spinal problems. This chair is comfortable. Drawback, it is kind of hard to close. I am 5'2". Love the chair so far. Great color, matches my sofa perfectly.

Always invest in the best!
It arrived sooner than expected. We love this comfortable recliner and easy smooth swivel chair. Many complaints when it comes to our decor.

Great visual import, a few design issues, good value for cost, go
Straight out of the box - easy enough to assemble even with hurting Rhetord Arthritis hands, using adaptive tools, I still was able to put in together by myself. I'm pretty strong and, unfortunately heavy. The chair assembly did require mental calculations, adaptive tools and very careful use of body weight to get it together. I = explain because I found it very difficult to move by myself on the short carpet in my space. I can speak to it's probably longerty based on the daily and nightly use it's had sime I unboxed it. I fell and injured my head and other limbs and ended up falling asleep in the chair nightly for the last 5 weeks... I'm now still using daily to prop up limbs ... It feels like it will last for a few years. The individual parts like the fold out foot rest and the back do not feel super heavy or sturdy, but even though the wood frames (you can feel it through the soft cushion on the back and footrest), do not ful like the most sturdy materials, I think this chair will last for a few years if treated with care. It is delinitely one of those situations where I would not want anyone but myself to sit in it for fear of someone accidentally using really vigourous movement to recline it...and that would eventually break it.How it tels when you recline it in the furthest reclined position: Wonderful for the first 5 minutes. The design flaw is that there is NO real way to keep the chair balanced in the furthest reclining position without you exerting force in your legs. Some of this is size related and where your weight in your body is positioned in the chair.I found it very stressful, due to a fractured leg. I had to pres dan with my calves to keep the chair fully extended while reclining. The solution is to wedge pillows in the crack between the foot rest and the seat and Shore my bottom as far back and almost up the back sean as possible and then fling myself backwards to tip the recliner back into the fully reclined position. It was frightening because a few times teu pressure required to keep the reclined positions (keeping legs extended as leverage) would hurt the fracture. The bad effect of the design flaw is that if you actually relax fully, such as full muscle relaxation during sleep, then you are likely to wake up with the seat no longer in the fully reclined position. This forces your body forward, putting pressure on your calves, shins and knees. It also cricks your neck very uncomfortably as it crunches you forward with the spring as the sean back slowly moves from the fully reclined position. One positive about the design is that the cushioned seat buck is better than other recliners which have sections of cushion that fore the seated person into the forward head syndrome and cause neck and back problems. This chair only has a slightly protruding cushion than pushes your head forward, so it is only slightly painful as opposed to the others. I had to use a thin inflatable pillow to put at the base of the seat back to compensate for the poorly placed cushion that forces your head forward and makes your back go into extra lordosis.I can recomend this chair for occassional lounging for fully mobile people with normal body strength, willing to make modifications to the chair to counteract the design flaws. Given the dirth of decently designed recliners at this price point, I would say this gives you the most value for money. However, given the design flaws, I regret not having $200 more to spend on a chair that I could just sit in without all the modifications and limits....forgot to mention: once you are in the furthest reclining position one ting movement, such as ajusting your hips, reaching for your phone or any very tiny movement, swings the chair back to the medium melined position. Thus it requires a real comittment... you get in position and then camot move a muscle or the chair flings you forward. The other very challenging part is that it requires a huge effort to depuis the footrest. Long legged people could do it better. I'm 5'3" and have very strong quads, hamstrings and calves. Before I feel, straight out of the box, after putting it together, I tested it out and I was very worried that I'd actually be able to use it because in order to use my hamstrings to kick the footrest back I had to sit almost on the edge of the seat to get the right angle to produce enough force to shore it back all the way to hear the click of the latch. Again, a very poor design flaw. But, I love what in looks like, that it is "light" looking and that I was able to put it together. I'm very grateful I found anything that would work even though it would have been a lot better with a mechanical function to return the footrest.

Definitely worth it!!!
For 400 i couldn’t beat this deal! i love this chair! Definitely getting me another one! The color of the couch is amazing! Definitely gives my apartment the little hint of spiciness, and a little hint of soy sauce, a little hint of the tomato!

nice chair
color is nice as is the style. I cannot put the footrest down and had to get a man to do it. the slightest touch the chair will swivel. it is comfortable but not for elderly people.

Easy assembly-Looks expensive while budget friendly.
It arrived quickly and the assembly was very easy. I am a 72 year old disabled female and that's saying a lot coming from me. It fits in my room perfectly and is very comfy. If it is sturdy we will have a Tri-fecta ! I recommend this product at present. How is stands up to daily use is all that's left to know. I found Flexispot through Harsh at "Harsh Reality" channel on Youtube and would be remiss if I did not mention Him. Thank you Harsh.

The seating experience...
The FLEXISPOT Swivel Rocker Recliner Chair offers a comfortable and versatile seating experience with smooth rocking, swiveling, and reclining functions. Its plush cushioning and ergonomic design provide solid support, making it a great choice for relaxation. The chair’s build quality feels sturdy, and I like the reclining mechanism. Assembly is straightforward, and the upholstery is soft yet durable. While it delivers good value for its features, those looking for an ultra-luxurious or oversized recliner might prefer a real leather option. Overall, it’s a well-designed chair that balances comfort, functionality, and affordability.
